Long time gone

But still going strong.

I have been doing great. I hope everyone else has been as well.

I have been busy with life. Kids back to school, my oldest is graduating this year so we have been trying to figure out college, etc.

I lost a few more pounds and I have to say it's bc my doctor finally put me on topamax bc of my extreme ocular migraines. That was about 6 weeks ago. Have not had one since. They were getting out of control. I feel great now. I lost 3lbs from it though. My dr said it was fine.

But I still eat 95% p3 style. Every other day I allow carbs, like pumpkin pancakes for breakfast this morning. They do not affect my weight. But I always have high protein. Lots of healthy veggies and fruits. Not much has changed really. It's become a way of life now. I don't crave anything.

My husband and I recently went on vacation to New England. I ate fish mostly with 2 days where I ate steak. We went for a week. When we came back I was only up 1lb and it came off the next day. Crazy!

Friday I had lasik surgery. I had enough with my bad vision so I did it. I am so glad too.

Other than that life has been great. I couldn't be happier, we are all healthy and happy.

BTW, I uploaded a new photo of me taken 2 weeks ago and put it side by side with me last year same time. Big difference! Amazing! I love this diet.

When I was in Boston last month, I met a gal there and introduced her to the diet, she is starting soon. I got my sister and bil on it finally. They started on the 1st and are doing great. My bil didn't think he could do it the first day, I tried to prepare him mentally for it. Once he started seeing the weight melt off, he became motivated. He told a couple guys he works with and now they want info from me.

I received a note from one of my daughters friends moms last month telling me how great I looked and what did I do bc she wants in on it. I told her and now she wants to start. She wants guidance from me.

I think I'm going to have to type something up showing what I did compared to what Dr Simeons has so they can see. I followed it to a "T". I know when I first started I wanted to know what my neighbor and bff did. It was just knowing what they did to make me feel like I'm doing something right. I think that's what they are looking for. Bc at this point I am getting tired of explaining and typing, lol. Not in a bad way, but you know that feeling of finally being off the diet but then helping someone else makes you feel like you are right back on it, lol.

I always recommend Pounds & Inches first and foremost and this forum.

Anyhow, I am off to bed. I just wanted to come here and let everyone know how I was doing.

Let me know how you are doing!

Good to hear from you! I'm glad you are doing so well and hope this new medicine can keep you feeling good. Bonus for dropping a couple of extra pound with it, right?

I ended up doing another round, because my round 2 was a bust. I just lost my focus in P3 and P4, and that was not good. But I'm in P3 now and very committed to following P3 and P4 the right way this time. No more P2s for me if I can help it!

It sounds like you are spreading the good news of HCG. I found that when people started seeing my changes that they all wanted me to be a diet consultant to them. Pretty funny, but it is nice to be able to help others.

Thanks again for the update. I love to hear from the veterans. You were one of the people I followed when I started earlier in the year. Your success really motivated me!

    Take care.

Glad to read your post. Wish more people who have reached their goals and are maintaining would do an occasional update. Thank you for sharing and congratulation on your continued success.

Hi Tate!! At first the weight loss was scaring me, but one I hit just 3lbs down and realized it was in the belly, I was happy. It wasn't anywhere else and I didn't lose anymore. So it was a good thing! lol

Sometimes we need that extra push. Remember when my baby became ill and I lost track? I didn't eat bad, but the stress of it all was too much for me. I gained a few pounds and had to do one last round. It was hard, but I did it. You're doing great! I'm proud of you!

@ Perseverance- I will try to do more updates. I also have a business that keeps me busy and since it's holiday time it's starting to pick up, plus my little one will soon be turning 2, she is becoming quite the handful. :-)
