Every round I do the "Try it on and see" thing at the stores in the middle of a round to see what sizes now fit. I just get a couple sizes and see where I am . . . I try not to buy too much clothes as I size down and I do tend to buy the transistion sizes kinda close but not choking so I have a little room to go down comfortably before I have to shop for more clothes.

Anyway, I stated out at Size 18-20 in pants . . . my tops are something else . . . I am now fitting into Size 12 pants and Large Tops. Now I went shopping and was trying on Size 12's . . . I accidentally got a Size 10 in there and it fit, a bit close but when I took it off and checked the size, my mouth just rounded into a great big O and then a huge grin.

So . . . . the pounds are hanging on but the inches are going away . . . . yaaaay!!

    Way to go.

    I had to get a pair of jeans and a maxi dress two weeks ago and now I feel like I wasted my money because the jeans are saggy and the maxi dress [which I've only worn 2x] is way too big. I should have bought a smaller size in both. Now I'm back to square one.

    All my pants are too big now. I have to go back to wearing dresses until I go down a complete size or two.

    Ahhhhhh.....I really like those jeans.

    the inches are the key. So far I lost 25.2 lbs byt 12.5 inches!! 5 inches off my waist. its such a joy!! Good for you! keep it up

    Thank you all. It does feel good . . . does a heck of a lot for me in th econfidence department. Lindsey . . . Walk into the store and try stuff on . . not necessarily buying . . . take your camera phone into the dressing room and take pictures too . . . then you buy at the end of the round. It does so much to boost the confidence to try on smaller clothes.

    Julie . . . the Inches are WAY better than the Pounds but for some reason I am so fixated on the numbers on the scale . It drives me nutso sometimes.

    Curvygirl . . . buy clothes that are a little close since you plan on losing anyway . . . I buy them snug and smile a LOT when they start getting too roomy. I am trying not to buy too much transistion clothes since they won't be fitting for very long anyway.
