R1/P2/D3:Really Starting...Finally!

So I finally started my HCG a couple of months later than I intended. I received all of my supplies very late due to the hurricane holding up supplies in customs... then when I finally received it my bac water was going to expire in one week so I had to wait for escrowrefills to fix it...which they did very quickly for being overseas. So now, I am on day 3, first day vlcd. I have been to busy at work to worry about food and really not hungry so I know the hcg is working. I just got home and almost ate two different snacks sitting around the house...because I was near them, not hungry. Then I remembered I was on the diet. Thank God for my husband who picked me up from work...I would have gone out to eat with him if I hadn't had to say it out loud and remember I was on this diet again. So funny...all of my struggles are purely with habit...not need, or want. It's crazy to think that I have lived my entire life like this and only now acknowledging it. There is a biggest loser contest (with cash prizes) starting this Friday at work and you have to join teams...I almost feel bad for entering...So I am still thinking about it. It would end after I started my next round so I would have an upperhand on everybody in the contest.
oh, I finally did my measurements, which are horrendous. My belly has finally enticed my butt to come on over to the dark side. Jerk. Well, I guess I am at least doing something about it. Loading sucked because I gained a few pounds but I just checked and it is coming off already so that is awesome. Ok, my measurements...I will probably do them weekly just to see how they go with my weight...I will do the weight daily.

    I think you should do the challenge, at least you won't be alone during the challenge. At least you will have other people eating healthy but just not the things you will be eating.

    My work just had a Walking Challenge which ended on 1/6/13. For the past 6 weeks, I have been walking 10,000 steps for at least 5 out of the 7 days each week. The person who walked the most each week, received a $25 gift card and I am looking to get a $100 prize just for meeting my goal of walking 10,000 steps a day for 5 our of 7 days in the week. I can use that cash towards getting smaller clothes in about a month.

    I am on VLCD 1 and I plan to keep up with my walking program.
