Finally a loss... broke the stall - protein day did it.

Rate this Entry
Just broke my dreaded 215.5 number... my gosh - I do hate stalls and I will not let it take its course for so long again without making some changes. Yesterday, I only had coffee and 2 small servings of roast beef and tons of water and finally dropped .5. Not much but I will take it. Very close to losing 25lbs. I have this left over mentality from so many years of dieting... In order to lose in the past I always had to eat much less than the diet plan called for - like weight watchers - I could never eat the normal points and that made me feel like I was punished.. how come it always was so easy for others to lose weight and not me? So I did not want to cut out fruits or melba toasts.. But I can do that for one day now to break a stall, as this is time limited.
Okay, time to figure out week to week. Not bad to see it this way!
RD1/PH2/wk1 - 14 lbs
RD1/PH2/wk2 - 5 lbs
RD1/PH2/wk3 - 4.5 lbs

of course everybody is different, but in reviewing my journey, i've noticed - clearly - that during p2 I lost more on the days I ate a litte more than the 500 calories. On days I ate between 550 and 600 calories I lost on average 1.3 pounds and on days I ate 475 to 525 calories, I lost only 0.7

I usually eat around 550-600 with a bit more in proteins.. but this stall was ridiculous. Thanks for the comment.
today I am back to 550.
