Finally back and ready to start

Rate this Entry
It has been well over a year since I've been on HCG or in this Forum. A lot has changed and during the past year I've been poked, tested, medicated and retested. Finally, I found out after all that, what has been going on with my body. I was finally diagnosed with a low thyroid which means I have hypothyroidism.

I am so happy to finally find out why it was so hard for me to lose weight no matter what I did and to know I am not crazy. I am on medication which is working, and I have researched everything I could on what foods help and/or hinder my weight loss efforts with this condition. I understand that because of my condition, that weight loss might take longer than most people but I'm prepared to take it slow and remain very patient with my progress.

After everything I've been able to learn about how my body reacts to certain foods, I feel now I am ready to give HCG another try. I know I can succeed this time because I know what foods I can have without causing more problems. The best thing I can do is modify the already limited food list and focus on those foods that I can eat which is most of the food items on the original protocol, except for the grissini so I might have a little more protein - 150g instead of 100g and also making sure that I walk at least 30 minutes a day.

I went shopping today and will not load until this weekend January 2nd and 3rd.

Until my next post.....

Hi Curvygirl63!!!!!! Yeah a name I recognize. welcome back. i have not been on here for over a year but thought I would give this another try! This is VLCD 9 for me and I am down 14 pounds and 4.5 inches so it seems to be going well!
I am so glad you found out what is going on with your body, it will make it so much easier for you! yipee.
I also don't eat the breadsticks and instead eat 4oz of protein instead and it has always worked for me. It is also easy to buy one pound packages of meat and just break it up into quarters...SO EASY!
Have a great round, I KNOW you will do well!
