Is my scale possessed?

Rate this Entry
The other day I mentioned in the chat room that my scale - flickered different numbers when I weigh in the morning. Sometimes, I get on 2-3 times, different ways - backwards, sideways, upside down and I always get a different weight. I didn't keep my scale in the bathroom because it is too small, so I would keep it "leaning against the wall" outside my bathroom. Beth suggested I not move it and keep it in one place and see what happens. For the past two days, it has not gotten any better.

NOW, I don't know what I weigh and I'm very frustrated. I see that I've lost inches but I have no clue now what my weight is. I know what it was yesterday.

Should I try changing the battery before I thing about getting a new scale. The thing is my scale is fairly new already.

Any suggestions? I'm at a loss about what to do and I'm VERY frustrated.

Thanks Julief, I didn't know that. I went and got a new battery but I won't know until tomorrow if that will fix it. I hope so, I do not want to get a new scale right now. My scale is one of the digital scales by weight watchers. I haven't had any problems until last week.

There was a thread a while back about a gal who moved her scale all over her apartment, and never got the same reading twice. Her floors were uneven. So if your flooring is uneven, it might throw off your scale. These digital scales can be really sensitive. Hopefully, the new battery will fix it.
