  1. Finally back and ready to start

    It has been well over a year since I've been on HCG or in this Forum. A lot has changed and during the past year I've been poked, tested, medicated and retested. Finally, I found out after all that, what has been going on with my body. I was finally diagnosed with a low thyroid which means I have hypothyroidism.

  2. My sister has jumped on board the HCG train.

    I have way more to lose than she does but she had been doing "shakes" for quite some time and wasn't able to lose anymore weight. She came over last Saturday, saw what I looked like and was sold.

  3. I thought I blew it....

    Yesterday I was on track until I got hit with a curve ball. I love how kids tell you at the last minute about an event at school.

    Long story short, my son was in a talent show and didn't tell me until 1:30 pm that the show was at 5:30 pm. Ahhhhhh.....

    I managed to get off early but the show took way longer than expected. I nornally have dinner between 7:00 - 7:30 because I don't eat after 8:00 pm. The show was over around 8:45 and we didn't leave until after 9:00pm. ...

  4. Scale issue...

    The new battery in my scale did the trick. I am so happy I didn't have to get a new one.

    I was down .6 this morning. Woooo Hoooo. I am so happy. I did cheat yesterday - on cucumbers and celery. It saved me from having any of the sweets that were at the bbq. I also had a little more protein than usual and I did not have any bbq sauce.

  5. Update: My 'Possessed' scale...

    Well I bought a new battery last night and this morning I stepped on the scale twice and it was the same weight - up .4 but I'm okay with that since, I was getting different weights for almost a week. I now have a new starting point.

  6. Is my scale possessed?

    The other day I mentioned in the chat room that my scale - flickered different numbers when I weigh in the morning. Sometimes, I get on 2-3 times, different ways - backwards, sideways, upside down and I always get a different weight. I didn't keep my scale in the bathroom because it is too small, so I would keep it "leaning against the wall" outside my bathroom.   7. Now What? This is getting crazy...

    The other day I posted on the Forum Chat Room that my bra cup size is shrinking and I now use my bra as a cell phone pocket. Well, now that I've taken smaller bra sizes from - you know... that box of too small clothes in the closet, I think I'm ok in the bra department.

  9. My Ahhh Haaa Moment

    Yesterday I wore a top I bought a few weeks ago and I realized at the end of the day that all I kept doing was adjusting it. Then that voice in my head told me - "Hey! This top is way too big. You've been pulling on it all day. It feels like a sheet! Stop wearing things that are too big. It is okay to go down a size."

  10. Yeah, Baby - I'm back on track now.



    After that huge gain the other day, I had a 1.8 lb release this morning.

    I started having a piece of Cocoa Crack with my coffee and one piece (or not) with my tea after dinner. I started doing that this week and it has really helped me pass on all the treats they bring in at work.
