  3. Unhappy? Keep your mouth shut.

    So in general, if you become depressed and this diet makes you feel like you will NEVER be happy again, people don't want to hear that. They just want bright, happy people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    So I blog when I become depressed.

    I imagine there is a darker side to this diet if you search the blogs. It's not all puppies, kittens, magic and shooting rainbows out your ***!

  5. Downward Spiral

    I thought TOM had showen up but he hasn't. I have been in a downward spiral since Saturday morning and I'm still going.

    4 days with drops, 7 total until P3 begins...scale said 119.2 this morning but I have this horrible fear it will be 120 again tomorrow. Just a fluctuation like the last 8 days. So I haven't updated my sig or ticker because I see no point.

    Orange and Spinach Salad (serves 6):

    6 oranges, peeled and all white pith removed, sliced crosswise
    2 red onions, sliced
    90g/3oz toasted almonds, chopped (Possible sensitivity food!)
    2 medium fresh red chilis, chopped
    1/2 bunch fresh coriander (What does that even mean?!?)
    4 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
    1/4 bunch/125g/4oz spinach, leaves shredded

    Homemade P3 Dressings!

    Dressings:

    Pesto -
    3 cloves garlic
    2 cups fresh basil leaves
    3 tablespoons pine nuts (pignolia)
    1 dash salt and pepper
    1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

    Pesto Variation -

    125g/4oz pre-made pesto
    1/2 cup/100g/1.5oz natural yogurt
    2 tablespoons mayo

    Dill/Cumin Dressing -
    1cup/200g/6.5oz natural yogurt

    I had a tiny piece of cococrack last night...it was REALLY good but then my craving issues sky rocketed and I realize it is NOT the thing for me in P2.

    I think I realize now that my biggest factor of my weight gain is my cravings. If I could find a way to put a check on those I might be able to stay thin for good.

    Perhaps it's time I realized I just need to become a stronger person, put on my big girl panties and just take this head on instead of thinking "OMG! ...
