So today is day 1 loading. I had not weighed myself in over a week before today.Let me just say I was NOT happy when I stepped on the scale. I am at 168.2. No one to blame but myself. After my last round I was down to 142.6. A little history...My younger brother with whom I was very close passed away in a freak home accident on Oct 31,2012. I went to Michigan(I live in WI) as soon as I got the call he was being taken to the hospital and being taken in for emergency brain surgery. Well I was eating Primal before the accident and began eating hospital food or whatever was brought to the house. From there things just went all to hell. During all this I was also planning my wedding that now had to be completely changed as my brother was to be best man and we were all going to vegas. It just would not have been the same so we changed it and got married in WI. During all this I was weighing myself and was not doing to bad weight wise. The week before the wedding I put on 12 pounds! Just a little proof of what stress and UNDER eating can do to you.I managed to take 5 of the 12 off then I just said what the heck I am going to do another round and ate whatever I wanted.BIG MISTAKE!! Did I know better...YES did I care..at the time not really. Do I now..YES kicking myself in the butt big time. Was it worth it NO!! So today I start loading and will load with healthy fats and a wonderful fatty rib eye .... or 2! LOL Have a wonderful day to all and let the journey begin!

I'm also so sorry to hear about your brother's passing. I am so touched by your post and I pray that you continue to find peace, strength, and comfort. As I too, am a fellow cheesehead (although not by birth) I know exactly what you mean about the winter, and comfort eating and everything else food related that goes along with the dairystate.

Well, welcome (back?) to the forum and I hope that it will lend strength and support to you on your journey. Best wishes!

Thankyou. I have only lived in the cheesehead state for the last 10 years..LOL I will never claim to be a cheesehead! HAHAHA Now we are trying to plan a move to Michigan to be closer to my sister in law since she is now a single mom of 3. Thankyou for your kind words and yes while it is bitter sweet to be back on the forums I am glad I am. I have met some wonderful people on here that are a fantastic support group and not just with the "diet" .I am very grateful for the support here.
