After few difficult evenings due to carb cravins, which I didn't give in to, I am happy to report I lost today 1.1 lb. I had gained yesterday 0.8, and the day before that I lost only 0.2 lb.
It was discouraging a bit, and the cravings were real bad. Instead, I ate extra protein, just to stuff myself. Today, I was pleased with the scale. I had no fruit yesterday, tons of organic spring lettuce and beef with fish (on separater occations). The result was good, even though by the evening I was up like 4 lb, felt like I will explode..
Today, was another story entirely. Was down over a pound.
For breakfast today I had. Sauteed onion and shredded cabbage with 1 tsp of coconut oil. On top of that I pured about half a cup of pure egg whites. Sprinkled with dill and garlic powder (was to lazy to peel). Was very tasty!
I find, after some observation, that my losing body is agreeing with coconut oil. I will keep on observing this, just in case it was a mere coincidence.
Happy weekend, everyone. I hope it won't be difficult this weekend. My son, 5 y. old, wants to order pizza. He likes the process and I do allow him pizza once a month or so. He is really good veggie and fruit eater, so that is why I am not very strict in regards to pizza. And he is so slim...at 5 y. he weighs 35 lb!
How is everyone doing? Any ideas how to curb the carb cravings? Or any advise or tricks at all would be highly appreciated.
P.S. I eat very plain and boring food (with few spices, no salt) while on ph2. So, yesterday, when I sprinkled some Himalayan salt on my spring lettuce with a touch of coco oil, it was so tasty, I ate almost whole box! YOu know, those prewashed kinds, I got the organic spring mix and the other box was organic baby spinach and arrugula. It's weird, how we find the ways to appreciate food...I bet some strawberries on top would be great, but cosco had very poor ones, so I didn't get it. I will look for them today. Also I will get the Magnesium citrate to help me keep regular.
Yesterday, in hopes of regularity, I had psyllium husk two times! And a herb lax. tea at night.
Overall, I feel great! Hope everyone will have a good weekend, which may be the most challenging for some.
