Costco brand bacon doesn’t have sugar. Look for the low sodium bacons, most of those don’t have sugar. Before going into P3, I make lists of P3 menus to choose from. I find really planning for P3 meals super helpful. I like to slow cook a large pork or beef pot roast. Roasted veggies as sides, mashed cauliflower, green beans. Egg roll in a bowl. Chicken fajitas. Ground beef taco salad (make your taco seasoning). Tuna salad. Salads with full fat dressings that I make from scratch with grilled chicken. Chicken swarma. Beef ragu served over zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash. Chicken tenders coated in pork rinds/parm cheese. Cheeseburger in lettuce bun. Steaks with sautéed mushrooms. Look up keto recipes...I like Carolyn Ketchum, Maria Emmerich and Kydra Holley. Once you find recipes you like, bookmark them. I also find printing some out helpful.What are some of your favorite things to eat in P3? Fav meals/ideas/recipes?
I bought the turkey burgers from Trader Joe's, I plan on eating 2 patties with green beans for lunch everyday at work lol. Easy to grill up and be done for my busy job. With mustard, relish probably.
I never do bacon on low carb, I can never find any without sugar, they all add sugar, so it's off the list for me (even turkey bacon has sugar). I wish I could find breakfast sausage, turkey breakfast sausage or bacon without sugar lol. But I'm not really a huge bacon fan (crazy, I know), my weakness is more pepperoni.
I am looking forward to doing roast in the crockpot with beef broth and seasoning. Of course I can't do potatoes, or carrots like my family, but I can add celery and zucchini for myself I suppose.
