(Somehow or other, I got kicked off my blog entry and can't seem to get back to it to finish, so here goes another.)
As I was saying, over the past two rounds, 1- 37 day round, then a short 23 day round) I've lost 36.2 lbs. Wow. A couple of cheat days in there, especially Thanksgiving! And yesterday, I saw someone who really raved about how great I looked. Very happy about that! FINALLY!
I'll be going into p3 this weekend, right as I travel, and hate that, but it can't be helped. I won't be gone long, but will try and eat as near to p3 as possible. Since I'll only be gone a few days, it will be easier to undo any damage with high protein days when I get home, than if I were to be gone for a week or two.
I'm looking so forward to p3, as this last round has been mentally challenging for me. Maybe the reason we are not do these rounds so close together is we need that time to mentally prepare for the restrictions, as well as physically. This time I will be doing p4, and will be entering that on Christmas Eve, I believe. But eating p3 more or less indefinitely, with many fewer sugars and starches than I used to eat doesn't sound like a bad life plan to me. I'll probably do some research on some gluten free cooking--if I find the starches make me gain. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Have to deal with this p3 first.
On p3 this time, I plan to be more focused on what to add, and when. It gave me no problems last round, stablized well, actually lost a little--but maybe I didn't add enough different foods as I should have. Ate a lot of high protein, because I liked it, and liked adding so much more volume. I did eat plenty of calories and fats in that p3. This time, plan to add more veggies and fruit, and to document, so I will be more aware of what helps or hurts in maintainence. Looking forward to it!
