    I bought the turkey burgers from Trader Joe's, I plan on eating 2 patties with green beans for lunch everyday at work lol. Easy to grill up and be done for my busy job. With mustard, relish probably.

    I never do bacon on low carb, I can never find any without sugar, they all add sugar, so it's off the list for me (even turkey bacon has sugar). I wish I could find breakfast sausage, turkey breakfast

  4. Update on Back to the PAST--p2 CONTINUED

    Okay, finished the PI, ended at exactly LDW from 2 weeks before. Since my Planned Interruption was 14 days, I did 2 days of loading during which I gained 5.6 lbs. Frankly did not enjoy the load days all that much. I was really surprised that I just couldn't eat like I used to and much of what I thought I was craving, like Pizza, I didn't enjoy at all The first load day, I did include sugar and starches, but found my cravings, quickly satisfied and found the sweetness almost sickening. ...

  5. P2 of Round 1, 2021.....Continued

    Just note for my reference:

    Started P2 in January of 2021, 2nd week of--during 30 days of P2 lost 22 lbs. Went on 2 weeks of Planned Interruption, and was able to maintain. So at start of PI was 185 and ended PI at 185. During 2 weeks of PI not once did i go over LDW enough to have to do a correction. So did great during PI, which I viewed as trial run of P3 since I ate only on p3 foods.   6. Still Works, When You Work It!

    Well, I didn't blog every 7-10 days as I thought I would. Here it is, close to 30 days down of Round 1 (calling it round 1 since it has been so many years ago I did the protocol). And, it still works! Woohoo. Very low calorie
    day #26, down 19 lbs, as of this morning. That's average of .73 lbs per day. So, yes Protocol still works.

  9. Covoid Comforts--time to let go of those!

    These past 10-11 months have definitely not been the norm, with lockdowns and masks! Such isolation, especially for older people, and those who live alone.
