  2. Last Day of Round 2, no hcg

    Finally, my last day of round 2, no hcg and I am hungry today. Actually had my last dose on Monday a.m., so I guess it is leaving my body. BooHoo.... Have to keep it together today, and not give in and eat. I don't even want to add any protein. So plan for the day is basically have a servings of my p2 chili (already made and portioned out) for lunch and dinner. I know that might not be totally protocol, but I've got so much to do and no time to cook--so it's the plan. Sounds kinda spartan ...

  3. Round 2 winding down...

    Day 23 of Round 2, and it's going ok. I think I am hungrier already this go around, than on my first round. But maybe it's mental, u know the whole holiday season. Am determined to see this thru to the very last hour. I think, since mine is homeopathic hcg, I only have to do 48 hours before p3, but I'm going to go ahead and tuff out until Friday a.m. Hopefully.

    This morning weighed in to .2 lb gain. That's sweet. Truthfully, I don't sweat those gains or those losses. But ...

  4. Round 2, Last Dose Day, Yahoo

    (Somehow or other, I got kicked off my blog entry and can't seem to get back to it to finish, so here goes another.)

    As I was saying, over the past two rounds, 1- 37 day round, then a short 23 day round) I've lost 36.2 lbs. Wow. A couple of cheat days in there, especially Thanksgiving! And yesterday, I saw someone who really raved about how great I looked. Very happy about that! FINALLY!

    I'll be going into p3 this weekend, right as I travel, and hate that, but ...

  5. R2P2 vlc19 Thanksgiving Weight BeGone!

    I planned to eat what I wanted on Thanksgiving Day, and I did. Not huge amounts, but a large plateful. Turkey, ham, mac and cheese, roasted sweet potatoes with roasted onion and crumbled bacon on top (my personal favorite), a spoon of potatoes au gratian, green beans, waldorf salad, rolls (several of those)--I had a spoonful of it all. Yummy! Then for dessert, a sliver of chocoate chip cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, and chocolate pudding cake. Yes, I was bad, and yes, it showed the next morning. ...

  6. R2P2vlc15 Thinking about Large Ear Lobes!

    Well, I guess everyone is busy cooking, baking, or just hanging out with friends and family this Thanksgiving Eve. DH and I will be going to in-laws house tomorrow, and she likes to do a lot of the cooking herself, so I have just a little to do, and that will be in the a.m. My babies are miles and miles away, so I always get a little sad on these days. Fortunately we are together every Christmas.

  7. R2P2vlc14 Keeping on Track.

    Don't mean to keep saying the same thing, but after a while, that's all there is to say about the p2 phase of this protocol.

    It's day 14 of vlc eating, so day 16 of this round, and I haven't lost as much as on Round 1, but still have lost 13.2 lb. (that does include loading lbs.) I'm pleased with that, would've like it to be a little more, but have less to lose so I expected it to go slower.

    This morning woke to .6 lb. loss. That's good for me. Only occasionally ...

  8. R2P2vlc13 Feeling More Focused Today

    Well, after some hmming and hawing, about how difficult this round has been, I think I've finally settled down and feel much more focused. Last night--for the first time this round--I did not feel like I wanted to go off protocol. No cravings, at all. That was good. And today I just feel more in control and focused than I have previously this round. Thank god! It defintely took long enough.

  9. R2P2vlc12--Not MIA, just Computer Glitches!

    Yesterday I tried blogging 3 different times, spent a lot of time typing, checking, and then each time my computer would freeze up, and I'd lose the blog I had written. Ok, the writing was on the wall....well, anywhere but on my blog so I said forget this, I don't have the time to rewrite for the 4th go round!

    To make a long story short, I'm doing ok, not really losing: lost 1.4 on R2P2vlc10; the next day, Friday vlc 11 I ate off protocol while on a little day trip antiquing ...

    Plan to be busy today, but I really need to be more consistent in documenting my losses and food plans for the rest of this round. It may help others interested in how a 2nd round goes, and help me for future reference.
