  1. Results of High Protein Day!

    Decided to do a high protein day yesterday. Wasn't over my ldw, but was .2 lb. from that weight, and since I'm to go out of town Friday, decided to head it off at the pass.

    So, yesterday I did all protein. Breakfast, sausage; lunch 2 small burgers (cooked on gf grill); and for dinner a large, and I mean LARGE sirloin tip steak that i cooked on grill outside with butter and lots of pepper, garlic salt and salt.   2. Phase 3, Day 3

    Well everything didn't go as planned yesterday. That's life when you decide to finally come out of hibernation, I guess. Found myself up 1.0 exactly today. Still under ldw but by only .2 of a lb. Don't like that, so am vigorously scanning previous forums and posts about high protein and steak days. I think I'll do a high protein day today, as many have success with that, and I'm not technically even over . U're supposed to do the steak days when u're 2# over your ldw, right.

  3. Tips for P3: Never Needed a Steak Day.

  4. Day 2 in P3

    Well, day 1 of phase 3 is under my belt. Maybe not the best terminology to use, don't really want it there--but it's in the record books. Basically added in egg and Bob Evans sausage for breakfast, sugar-free coffee creamer (and it was flavored, maybe not on protocol, but OMG it was heavenly), bleu cheese Maries Natural Salad Dressing, and did have 80/20 beef in my store bought All Natural Spaghetti Sauce (no sugar added).   5. Getting Ready for P3

    Almost three days off drops and surprisingly, have not been ravenously hungry. Before dinner my stomach was making itself heard, but I wasn't miserable. Ate my alloted food, weighed and measured per usual today, so it went well. I was nervous about how hungry I would be but obviously the drops stay in your system a little longer than we think. No way would I typically eat 500 cal. a day and not be scavenging for food--any food!

  6. Grrrr!

    WHAT is up with the friggin scale? Geez--scale up .6 today. It seems if I lose anything, the next day at least half of that loss is called back. I feel like I'm being charged for a penalty when I haven't broken the rules. (Can u tell it's football season?) Up .6 today, while I know it is not all that much, it's still driving me crazy! What's going to happen when I eat NORMALLY?

    No hcg for about 48 hours now. Am going to hold off for the cream in coffee until tomorrow a.m. ...

  7. Transition to P3 update

    Short note: afternoon of the day after last hcg dose (last taken 8:30 a.m. yesterday). Am beginning to get hungry some. Not unbearable, but just drank 2 glass of water. Also feel lightheaded. Is that normal?

  10. Getting Ready for P3

    Yesterday was my last hcg dose (in the a.m.), so I am now officially on my way to P3. Was so afraid I would feel the effects of no hcg in my system by last night that I freaked myself out over every little rumble or grumble in my tummy, even though I've have had those (grumblings and rumblings) a lot during this journey, anyway--on the hcg. Worried when I went to bed that when I woke up this a.m. I would be ravenous....but I'm happy to report, it hasn't happened yet.
