Ok, decided its time to blog, mainly so I can keep track of how things are going--for future rounds (which will hopefully, really, only be one more round).

Today was a total mind f%$#@, which doesn't surprise me, but good god did I feel like I was being grounded and couldn't eat this or that and sooooooo wanted to. I said I would keep it clean, and do protocol but who am I kidding. I'm rouge and loving it. The run down:

Hunger: Surprisingly, I wasn't super hungry today. Maybe that is because I consumed a lot of fat yesterday or maybe its because tomorrow is going to be a *****. I got a little hungry around 2ish (when I would typically eat lunch) and had a little rumbly in my tumbly around 5-6ish, but that could be because I have only consumed about 30oz so far for the day.

The Food:
Breakfast:
A handful--or three of blueberries. Munched on them on the way home from the farmers market. MmmMmm!
Cup of coffee

Lunch:
2 chicken tenders cooked in veggie broth with garlic and onion powder
TJoes herb salad mix, with half a persian cucumber and 3 cherry tomatoes.

Dinner:
4oz NY Steak
2 cups broccoli steamed in veggie broth w/garlic powder and salt
1/2 a piece of Ezekiel bread w/ the tiniest amount of unrefined coconut oil (YUM! This might be my new P2 addiction).

Totals: Cals 449 Carb 25 Fat 9 Pro 66 Fiber 8 Sugar 8

I didn't account for the half cucumber or cherry tomatoes. I contemplated having the other half of the bread this evening, and I may if I end up getting hungry, but ironically, I was stuffed with dinner before I even finished it!

So, maybe this round won't be too bad. I am rouge'n it up with the berries, mixing veggies, of protocol veggies, and bread w/coconut oil, but I can't imagine any of those really being detrimental to the process.

Energy/Mood: I am jealous of those who say they feel so great during P2. Not the case for me. Granted, I did just about absolutely nothing today, but I was definitely tired today. I am currently unemployed, so this might become the sleep-all-day-hcg diet this time. lol.

Alrighty, instead of making new blogs each day, I am just going to comment on this post.

After writing about my 1st day, as the night progressed, I started getting that lovely achey feeling I experienced last round. I got on the exercise bike for a bit, that helped a little, then I felt like I was starting to cramp, and my jaws were tensing up, so took Ibuprofen. Cramping stopped, tense jaws, no. So, took a nice hot shower but even then the discomfort was ridic, so since I broke my 'I'm not going rouge for the first few days' already, with broccoli and NY steak and bread, I said 'eff it, call in the gin. Aaaaah. Woke up to a 1.6 loss. Whoot!

Instead of posting each days menu, I'll just say today was a bit rogue too, as I had the half piece of bread w/ a tiny bit of coconut oil. Had a serving of blueberries w/3-4 strawberries....and used coconut oil (tsp) with my shrimp for lunch. Dinner I got a bit more rogue and had a very small serving, I am guess 1/4c, of a rice noodle dish with a peanut/ginger/soy dressing. I couldn't help myself! If I calculated everything correctly, I am a few calories over the 500, but I'll just hop on the bike this evening and burn a few cals. I never include the gin (or the cashews that I ate last round) into the equation. I like to consider those...invisible calories? lol.

Energy/Mood has been good, although I did take a little nap this afternoon---but I blame that on a restless dog last night. I haven't taken any supplements but my probiotic today, and find that interesting...

Hopefully as the night progresses I won't end up feeling all icky again. Although, I only have enough gin left for a glass or two, so I might have to get down on that.
