Get Smaller : Day 5 down and the perils of beef

Down 1.2.lbs today. Yay the first real loss from starting weight (ignoring the loading fluff).

Very little to no hunger today, which was just as well because tonight's dinner was 80g of beef. Standing rib roast to be precise. Trimmed of all visible fat but who am I kidding when it comes to rib roast? It was the last of the leftovers from Saturday. 80g = 158 calories. Tasty but oh so costly. Veggie was iceberg lettuce, which I really do like. It's so self-confidently bland. Romaine seems like it wants to be spinach but can't find it in itself to make the leap. Skipping the apple and bread stick this evening but there's room to wiggle for another couple cups of espresso.

    Good loss. I am looking for the perils of beef, aside from the cost . . I cannot find it. I love Beef, even more these days, before hcg I could take it or leave it but the more I eat it, the more I am falling for it. Now I get what the big deal is about a nice thick and juicy piece of steak.

    I have never thought of iceberg lettuce as confident nor Romaine as confused . . . still lol . . ing about it.

    I adore red meat but it is just too high in calories to be a daily thing when you're VLCDing.

    Until the day before I started the round, we had no white fish in the house. Family prefers salmon or English-style battered fish if we're doing a fish night. If you're craving it now, it may be because of the overall low protein amounts you're having.
