Feeling better today seeing a loss on the scales this morning. Sorry for yesterday's rant, diet mentality took over. I just want this to be over with. Dieting gets so old but then again so do muffin tops, baggy sweaters and flying squirrel arms. Like someone's tag line on here says, "Dieting is hard but being fat is harder".

I certainly didn't blow up to 200 pounds overnight so it only stands to reason it won't melt off overnight either. But it sure was more fun eating my way to fat than counting my way thin. All I know is this will be the last "Diet" I'll ever need. One more short round should put me at my 150 -155 goal. At 5 foot 6.5 inches age 52 I'll be perfect weight and I'll have the tools to maintain this time. Magic Steak Days work. So I can literally have my cake and eat it too. (Just not everyday...hehe)

Sooooo ready for P3. Bring it. 23 day round is sooooo much better than the 40 day. I really don't know how folks do this protocol for 60+ days on those homeo drops. I'd be stark raving lunatic and pissed off everyday. I'm of a mind to eat the elephant one bite at a time rather than one sitting. God bless all those with the strength to endure loooong rounds. Not me, get in, get out and move on with life.

Being on protocol is so consuming...but so worth it. I just love how my clothes are fitting and how much more energy I have without the extra poundage. Feet don't hurt, hips don't bother me any more if I sit on the ground, knees don't creek going up stairs, don't feel out of breath after a walk and I like the reflection in the mirror. Makes me feel 20 years younger...honestly how did get to be 50 something??

Tomorrow is last dose...just got to make it through holiday weekend. Daughter will be here Sunday and has requested Chivetta's chicken on the grill. Think I'll make myself some beef and onion and apple shish ka bobs.

Almost over....dreaming of cream in my coffee. ahhhhh

It's not so bad being on P2 if you get pretty creative with your meals. I have got to the point now I love eating this healthy way, and don't really miss the bad foods anymore. Like I am a big Mexican food person so now I'll make taco salads and lettuce taco wraps which are really good I might say and much healthier than a taco fried in grease. This diet is really teaching me to live a healthy lifestyle.

Two rounds of being creative in P2 is work after a while. Winter time wasn't so bad when you are stuck inside any how. But springtime yard work is at a premium this year between rain and P2 creativity means a lot of kitchen time. So this time I've kept it fast and furious to get back outside.

Yeah I don't miss the bad foods necessarily, it's mixing my veggies, real butter and cream, cheese, eggs and fruits with greek yogurt. I could careless about deep fried foods and the like. I miss all my good healthy foods and the good fats essential for brain function and mood. Almond butter, fruit spreads and ezekial english muffins and my whey protein shakes with fruit for breakfast. Bacon and eggs or veggie omelette on the weekend with husband at our favorite diner. I've eaten enough taco salads on these two rounds that I'll probably never crave a taco again....lol

Only difference is on P3 I can add avocado, salsa and sour cream....now your talking my language!

I could live for ever on P3 foods but P2 restrictions are too much for a long period of time for me. But you are right P2 really helps you to appreciate healthier foods for life.

I'm with you, Gina. I've been fooling around on hcg protocol since September of last year. And I think I'm suffering hcg fatigue. My other rounds I did not mind cooking the food--this round, I dread making the meals. They taste great when I do, but I'm just tired of doing it. That being said, I just had grilled onions and burger on my GF for lunch, and it was delicious. P3 kinda spoils you. The fats, the rotesserie chicken, salads with bleu cheese. We'll be back there soon. I only have 5 more days of inj. for my 23 days, but I'm thinking about going an extra week, for the 30 day cycle. Can't decide. Don't want to do this again for a very long time. Have fun with your daughter this weekend.

Too funny Dubbs I had a 4 oz. delmonico with an entire sliced vidala onion cooked in hcg broth for lunch. Was starving this morning at 10am so I did a protein shake and was still hungry at 11:30 so I did the steak. Simeon said you might get hungry close to the end if near immunity. So not sure what immunity feels like but I sure know hunger!

Yeah I love P3...you're stronger than I am..... go for your 30 day and be done for life. Steak days are a dream compared to P2 for 23 days right? Cause you can't do a round less than 23 days, if I could knock out my last 15 pounds in a week I'd do it but for now I'll settle for one more round in October, cause now I know 15 pounds in 23 days is possible. Not sure how losses will be on round 3 when I only have 15 pounds left to loose, though. I'm crossing my fingers it will be my last round.

You have a nice holiday too!

Great job Gina! I am so happy you had a good loss. Keep up the good work and you are so close to P3 you can start dreaming about all those good foods you listed in your blog!

    Make it a great day!
