I didn't post the results of my second Fat Fast day. So here goes: I was down .8 lbs yesterday morning. That's decent, but I decided that I would not continue with it, that what works best for me is sticking on protocol, no choco D, no lemon truffles, no fat fast days.

Woke up this a.m. to a 1.4 lb. release after getting back to normal VLCD yesterday, so I'm very happy. The 2 losses put me firmly in the 170s which also makes me happy.

Really chill and damp here today and did a Cystic Fibrosis Walk-a-thon with my sister and brother this a.m. I only did the 3 mile walk as I have tears in my miniscus and ACL ligament and some arthritis in my left knee. Did pretty well in spite of the damp weather with only a little limping towards the end. Taking off weight has definitely made it easier on my knee. Much less pain than last year. I'm hoping the walking doesn't cause a gain tomorrow though.

Thats very good loss..I think it was a good decision to go back to protocol. A walk a thon is a really nice thing to do not only for your self confidence, but for the cause. 3 miles is really good. Knee problems are rough. They make doing most things more difficult. Sorry yours is aching. When I lost the weight my joints got so much less achy than before. I went around the other day for an hour carrying a 5 pound weight ball. it got really heavy. Funny how many of them I was carrying around for a few years.

Thanks. I was thrilled with that loss. Down .4 today. Always seems like a big loss is followed by a goose egg or a small loss, but I'm fine with it because I didn't gain from the walking! I am sore today though. And I know what you mean about picking up weight and feeling how heavy it is and realizing that is what you no longer carry with you daily. I went into the grocery store with a friend and she videod me putting 20 lbs of butter in a shopping basket, because at that time it was what I had lost. It really was surprisingly heavy! Thanks for the support! Luv ya girl!
