Hi and Happy Sunday to you all.

I am still working on correcting what goes on in my mind and how I react to what life throws at me. Julie I read your blog and the link that all these books have are that you really have to fix your behaviors and your reactions to different situations. Until you correct this then we will always return to old habits and problems because our reactions and the consequences of that keep us in a circle/ cycle that just keeps on repeating over and over.

Reading through Weight Loss Apocalypse . . . I see myself in the pages . . she is saying things that I already recognise and can relate to in my own story. I have not finished the book yet, I usually am a fast reader but it is taking me forever to read this but I am slowly getting through it.

I am kind of happy that I am having struggles on this journey because it is allowing me to see myself and the deficits that need correction.

I am going to wait a minute before I begin my next round. I have to figure out a decent P3 routine. First I would like to get back to LIW range by doing Steak Days and eating correctly and that actually means eating more food but in a balanced way even if that means planning a menu and shopping list and sticking to that.

I refuse to give up or give in.

    Oh sweetie...I so agree with all you have said. Blindly following protocol for anything will only give short term results. We have to dig deeper....yes! It is not easy but the rewards.... We will be unshakable in our resolve. I am so very happy to read your post today. You will do this in your own time ...for Mel! Struggles bring strength!

    WLA ...God bless you....my mind cannot absorb it yet. Maybe dr mikes protocol will help my concentration and then I can absorb more. Hehehe!

    I think that is the key to everything in life. If we change our thoughts everything changes. It is a constant job standing at the door of our mind but if we can control our thoughts I believe our whole life will change. i have been working on the same thing so I totally relate.Sounds like you are in a good place. Try not to deprive yourself trying to get back to your LIW. We need to be more nurturing to ourselves. Another option may be to accept where you are, stabalize and then proceed. Either way is great cause you are on the right tract and no one is going to judge you except yourself. I applaud you for getting right back up, dusting yourself off, learning from it and moving on. It takes a lot of strength and perseverance to do that. You rock girl!
