R4 - P3 Day 4

206.2 ~ Down 1.2 ~ = 0.8 Above LIW

Back down again. Has it only been 4 days of P3? It feels like forever. Julie you know maybe I really should just eat regular P2 and forget about adding anything. I did add mug cake and cocoa crack which I thought would do no harm since it is basically fat and fiber. Fat that we need to add back in and fiber to make you go. I am hoping to blame it on TOM but that could be hopeful thinking. It is simple yet why can I not just stick to that and give myself some success? I think I need to scale back on the fruit too and see what happens.

Contemplating correcting with a steak day today or tomorrow to get me back under LIW. TOM is packing so I am hoping that I will be free tomorrow."

Yesterday's Meals:

Breakfast: Mug cake and butter, spinach, coffee

Lunch: Apple

Dinner: Spinach, Eggs, cocoa crack, iced tea slushie

Beverages: Coffee, water, tea

    You may want to try eating regular food. Protein and veggies at every meal. Fruit as a snack. Small amount of cocoa crack. I don't know that pork rinds and mug cake and cocoa crack really make a meal. Hate to give you advice when you may not be asking for it but somehow I can't help but think if you ate real food you could eat more of it and feel satisfied. I hope I didn't overstep my boundaries...just trying to help cause I care.

    Hi Mel, you know I agree w P. I really think you need some whole food ESP protein. Do you eat meat fish or poultry? I am concerned about your protein level. You probably have it figured out but just in case you haven't please look at your food intake in depth. Plug it into a site or an app. Your body needs protein and if you don't give it enough, it will go to your muscles and take it from there. And that is NOT good. What about veggies? Spinach is a good choice BC it has calcium, iron and protein. But what else are you having? If you can add a meat/fish...that might help keep you satisfied. I don't think you are eating enough whole food. The crack is high calorie but won't make up for the nutrition you need. What do you think?
    Oh and I don't think you should stick w p2 foods just make the best choices from the p3 list. No experimenting, especially if you are going to cycle. You need to feed your body. I'll shut up now. Xoxo

    First . . . Thank you for being there for me on this journey . . feel free to speak your mind because I am happy to hear your thoughts. I prefer if my friends tell me the truth . . . even if it hurts my feelings (in this case my feelings are not hurt, just makes me take a look at what I am doing) . . I will get over it but I will appreciate the honesty and frank speech.

    Looking over my meals . . . it does look like I have been having a snack fest and lacking balance . . . aside from eggs, I guess I have been leaving the protein out a lot . . . and the veggies . . . well I just have to add them back in there.
