Journey to ONEderland . .

Round Comparisons - Reality Check/ Therapy Session

Rate this Entry
It is time for me to be my own Therapist again. I am taking at look at the realities of my situation.

So I was going over my spreadsheet and looking at the trend for my rounds and I tend to do really well on the rounds, I just sucked at stabilizing in P3. I am not beating myself up over it . . I am just looking at the reality of my situation and giving myself some motivation for the future by looking at what is possible if I stick to my guns and just hang in there between rounds. I would have been in ONEderland a round back and cruising in the 180s. I need to own my reality so that I can move past it. It is a lesson I need to learn now before I get to goal and lifetime stabilization because if I suck at stabilizing now then I am going to be setting myself up for a world of trouble in the future.

The total losses for all my rounds thus far has been 60 plus pounds . . . I have gained back losses from one whole round while trying to stablilize between rounds. It really sucks having to re-lose weight that you have already lost on previous rounds and keep passing the same marker that you had left as the previous rounds LIW. I do not consider myself a failure because of my struggle and I know I am not alone. I just need a solution or I just need to get out of my own way in order to progress to goal and maintenance. I am also writing this for you . . . you know who you are . . even if I do not know of you or your personal struggle, that is the reason why this Forum works . . . we are in the same struggle, just at different levels. I think that as long as we keep trying and keep doing something about it . . . then there is no failure in that.

This is part of the Round comparison sheet that I was looking at.

It is good you are looking at the whole picture and making a realization. That is always the first step to making a change. I applaud you. Let me know if I can help in anyway. I thought about logging my foods in my next P3 to see if it would help others. If you think that would be helpful I would be glad to do it. Let me know. I am not perfect at it but I stay somewhat stable. It might even help me be more accountable.

It is no secret that I think you absolutely ROCK! You are always on the ball during your stabilization, as soon as the scale moves in the wrong direction . . you do a correction and that is what I need to do. I know what to do . . I just dont always do it.

It would be nice to see a food log with what you eat during the rounds and between . . . it helps to see what other people are doing and maybe incorporate new ideas into our own routine. I like the food log too because I can look back at a particular day and see what I ate and what happened the day after. I have an excel file that I work on daily and just copy info into the blogs (explains why my blogs look pretty much the same everyday.

I am really thinking about it. Just seems P2 food is so really boring but I may do it caise I don't keep very good records.
