It's been a while so I thought I would post an update on how's things are going. I struggled in P3 but stabalized around 5 lbs up from my lowest weight. That still leaves me down 25lbs which I'm pretty happy about. I recently went on vacation and my diet was pretty crappying during that time. The last half of the week I ate really bad. As no supprise I was up over 7 lbs from my stabalization weight. I was able to lose back to my stabalization weight in about a week by just using Intermittent
The last couple of days on P3 haven't been good for me. I've stayed away from posting mostly because of being depressed over my results. My weight has steadily been going up and yesterday morning I was up over 7 lbs over my lowest P2 weight. My attempts at a steak day and Fage day have also been a disaster. I just can't seem to controll my hunger without the help of HCG. I have been sticking to P3 foods the whole time and keeping the calories to the maintence allowance. So yesterday I really
The pound I lost yesterday morning is back this morning. P3 has been a roller coaster for me. But it does seem like it's at least keeping between a 2 pound spread. The only problem is when I get to the top of that range it put's me above the 2 lbs above LDW. I hate to compromise, but I think I might adjust my allowance to 3lbs above LDW before I take steps (steak day, Fage day, etc.). Now that I got my energy back; I'm going to see if my increased Cardio can work off a few pounds too.
Down 1.2 lbs. I'm just a pound over LDW now ! So I think I finally figured it out with the help of some comments to my previous days blog. I was not getting enought calories. After I had come off the drops I left like I needed to very slowly increase my calories to the maintence level and I was only up to about 1200 calories a day. Without the HCG in my system I guess my body thought I was starving and was holding everthing it could. Yesterday I upped it to 2000 and ate mostly protein.
Down .4 lbs. My steak day was a FAIL. By lunch time yesterday I felt like I was starving so I had some protein. I started feeling weak and tired just like being back in P2 again except now I was hungry also. By dinner time not only did I have my steak, by more P3 sides too. Next time I might try the Fage day like Tate recommended. So at this point I'm 2.2 above my LDW, so I think I will just see what happens here in the next few days.
Up another pound, so I'm going to do a steak day today. Without the help of the HCG it will be interesting to see how my hunger holds out. I know it's only been 3 days, but P3 for me hasn't been that easy. I hate the idea of gaining back any of the weight that I worked so hard to get rid of.
Up 1.6 lb. I think I might have jumped my calories up to quick for the first day on P3. I need to go back and figure out what it should be. According to my tracking yesterday I had around 1200. I definately wasn't expecting this big of a gain in just one day. One thing I can say is I'm really feeling great! I had more energy in my workout yesterday than I have had in months. If I have to do a steak day I hope I can make it to the weekend first.
lost .8 and back to LDW. Today is my offical first day of Phase 3, but I actually start doing some P3 yesterday evening. I feel so much better, energy level is way up and the back pain I was feeling the last week of VLCD is almost gone. I had some plain greek yogurt last night and couldn't believe how great it tasted. Gain .8 . Not sure why I had a wieght gain. But It's been a couple days since a BM, so that should account for at least some. Today is my last day on phase 2 and I'm already feeling more energetic just anticipating going on p3. I go shopping tonight for some p3 foods.
Down .5 and I have officially lost 30 pounds . I was going to try to make it to 40 days but decided to cut it short. Maybe because I'm using the homopathic drops, but the HCG seems to be losing it's effectiveness. The hunger is starting to come back; I feel I am losing some muscle mass with the weight loss and my energy level is dragging. So cutting two days short I don't think is a big issue.
