Hey There ladies and Gents!!
I am so happy to report that I am another 6LB's down! Which is a total of 6LB down in two days after ystarting VLCD, I am on day 3 currently and things are doing more smoothly than yesterday! I am learning that the diet is getting easier and easier as time goes on and as I get into the groove of things. The water is a little bit harder to get down today due to the fact that im not very hungry at all today.

I am learning much about my body and how it deals with water, I am feeling just a little bit bloated im not sure why? I am thinking it might be a little water retention due to my seasonings, maybe I don't do very well with Sea Salt. So I am going to switch up the seasonings and see how my body fares that way.

So today! I made my first apple crisps, they were so good absolutely amazing! Taste just like apple pie, and for only 80 calories ir felt like I was Cheating! I loved it so much! It was alliteratively easy to make. I skipped out on the milk and melba toast but everything turned out well even my mother thought it was absolutely delicious!

Recipe

1 apple
a half of a small lemon
1 T water
1 1/2 packets of Stevia
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t ground nutmeg
1/4 t pumpkin pie spice

Pre heat your oven to 400 Slice your apples pretty thin if you can, I sliced mine about medium size, I placed them in a bowl, I took my pumpkin spice, sprinkled a bit on there till they were light but evenly coated. I did the same with the ground cinnamon, I love the smell of it so I placed a little bit more on there, also with the pumpkin spice evenly coat it. I took one half of a Lemon and squeezed the juice onto the apple and spice mixture with maybe about a table spoon of water and tossed.

I stuck it in the oven for about 15/20 minuets wait till they were a bit browned and a bit softened. They were absolutely delicious taste just like apple pie!! Taste like I was cheating, definately took away the sweet tooth for just 80 calories!

Melba Toast - I am currently enjoying the garlic Melba toast, I will probably have one for lunch however there is a drawback to them. They make me crave carbs. They made me feel fuller than I have before I went to sleep maybe I can reduce it to just one melba toast a day, I am just afraid it will not only hinder my weight loss but potentially aid me in cheating, so I am going to be very careful with the Melba toast!

But that is about it today!! I am hoping I can keep up the momentum and eventually stay losing one pound a day!
'
Let me know how you ladies are doing!

Thank you so much for reading!

Good for you journey. I found the Melba made me want carbs too. Maybe hold off on them until you are a couple of weeks into the diet and through the carb withdrawls. When you are stronger and practiced at the diet, it might be easier with it then. Congrats on the loss. You are doing great!

Thank you so much Bavalay! I appreciate it so much <3 I am definately having a good time on this diet, its defiantly making me cook and try out new things I've never even considered of doing. Yes the melba crackers are so dangerous for me! They are so delicious, almost too good lol.
I will definately do that maybe wait till next week like you said, it'll probably get easier for me and I will be able to fully enjoy it with confidence!
thanks so much for loyally commenting <3 <3 makes my day!

I ditched the melba's early on because A: I didn't lose well with them and B: they tasted like crap! But if your loving them and losing with them...go for it!!

oh yum! we don't have pumpkin pie spice in Australia, but i've made my own spice blend and they are now in the oven. I made a double batch - 2 apples, go wild! - cos i'm sure the kids will want to share. could become a new school lunchbox thing too.

    * just googled pumpkin pie spice - ginger, cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg and cloves. I added: ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. seemed like too little to crush a whole clove into, and cardamom is my favourite.
