  1. didn't get it

    yesterday, after a small loss in the beginning of my p2- i got a little a nervous-- afterall- i would prefer not to lose .2, .4 or .6-- don't get me wrong- i'll take those losses, but it's kind of dicouraging to see such low numbers all the time ( i know they add up)--anyhoo--
    i ditched my chapstick- traveled to a nearby "designer" mall and tried to obtain some bare essentials skin care products-- i visited 2 stores which carried their line of makeup but not skin care. UGH!! ...

    does anyone know if 100% aloe could be used as a lotion??
    i'm thinking of buying an aloe plant, to use some of it's leaves to help with the cracking of my knuckles and burning of my lips

  3. A Special Day

    Today is special for more than one reason for me.. first and foremost, it's my second son's birthday- that's right my little valentine baby...he's 9 today and of course it's valentines day. that being said--last night, i was baking red velvet cupcakes with homemade creamcheese frosting to put in my son's lunch box..After the cupcakes were baked and designed- i noticed that my knuckles were very dry. so dry, that they were cracking.. now this has happened in the past- but i usually just put some ...

  4. weird

    So I'm keeping busy, but trying not to exert too much energy. As I'm working, I'm thinking I'm hungry-which is very odd. I checked out the clock, and it was only 10:30am- not time to eat yet. So, I just made a cup of hot green tea.
    what I realized later in the day, this is the week before my period. Last round, I felt hunger pangs at this time to. So, now that I know it will pass.. Mentally...I'm good.

  5. first weight, after loading

    OMG!!!
    I was a bit concerned that I didn't gain during the loading phase. afterall, I had eaten a higher amount of fat/calories in 2 days, than I have in months.
    To my surprise, I'm down 3.2 pounds. Woohoo... That's a new high-or should I say low for me (in one day).I downloaded an app that counts my calories, and tells me the nutritional value of each food.
    I've been eating Fuji apples- but after seeing their sugar content is higher than granny smith, I'm planning on mixing ...

  6. feeling good

    Day 3 of round 2, and I'm feeling great. I ate so much on the loading days, but to my surprise I didn't gain any weight. I hope that's a good sign..
    Today, I broiled a Weeks worth of chicken breast, and wrapped my individual portions. After my lunch, which consisted of 100g chicken, @ 1/2 cup shredded green cabbage, Fuji apple and 1 grissini, cup of green tea, I am feeling satisfied.
    I took measurements of my neck, waist, and hips...
    And I'm looking forward to some losses

  7. A new beginning

    Finally, saturday has come... it feels like forever.. the amount of time i have waited to start my second round..
    there is a lot of snow on the ground-- between 9-12 inches.. everything is white-- and what a great day to begin my loading.. i get to enjoy all the fatty comfort foods.. woo hoo... and then my journey on a road of descending numbers is my future.. or at least i hope.

  8. Waiting it out

    Today, I woke up sicker... all stuffed up, my head, my ears omg---
    I visisted my doctor-- and received an antibotic-- so now it's official-- tomorrow is not my start day on round 2
    Fortunately, I received a 5 day antibotic-- so now i'm counting down until I can start..
    It's a bit disappointing, I psyched myself up to start and I was all ready.. but i guess it wasn't meant to be--
    my new start date will be feb 9 (saturday)

  9. Sick!!!!

    I've been sick with a bad cold for about 10 days now. No prescribed medication, only over the counter-- nasal spray and decongestant.

    I'm hoping this clears up before tuesday-- as i want to start my second round. I have decided not to start if i am still congested.

  10. getting ready

    I just went to the store and purchased skinless chicken tenders (breast meat)- I find the tenders easier to clean up and remove any excess fat or veins. I also bought some 96% lean grass fed chopped beef, asparagus, lettuce, cucumbers, celery, my favorite for staying satisfied- shredded green cabbage, Fuji apples, granny smith apples, oranges, sesame melba toast and grissini. I also got some sugar free cinnamon gum for those days that i'm craving some sweets. And lets not forget the green tea! ...
