~Jump and find your wings on the way down...Author Unknown~

12/03/2011 ~ This is the first day of the rest of my life ~ I am 42, 3 children, married to my best friend for 21 years and have struggled with my weight always. I am determined to have this work for me and know I can do it! I think I have tried just about everything except surgery and nothing seems to stick...my theory on that is that I am a Monday girl; on Monday I will start a diet, be a better wife, mother, friend and make a difference. I seem to always start on Monday and what is funny is that I started my Load Day on Saturday but Monday was my first VLCD LOL ....I also need to see quick results which in turn helps me stay motivated and that is why this is going to work for me; just a jump start! I cannot wait to see the changes that will happen!!!

Today went really well! I was pretty worried about pms and cravings with it being first day of TOM but I felt good and wasn't even bothered that my whole family had McD's in the house tonight! The smell did not get to me really at all....now, just seeing that beautiful Big Mac did cause a little bit of a mouth water but then I realized that that pretty little thing was a pretty big part of why I am where I am. The convenience of grabbing some fast food while carting 3 teenagers around made life ...

I like to make sure I am looking at a glass half full rather than half empty but today just got the best of me! I made the mistake of getting absorbed in daily household priorities this morning and did not realize until around 12:30 pm that I was starving. I ALWAYS am structured with my timing from getting up, shot, coffee, breakfast, snack etc so this totally threw me off. When it hit all hell broke loose and I felt slammed with instant headache, FREEZING (even put gloves on and a blanket...felt ...

I am so excited about finding this forum and groups to help with support, advice and information while I take this journey! I am so focused and ready for this...my glass is so half full! I am 42 years old, married to my best friend 21 years strong and who has seen me at my best and worst during the changes in my weight. I am starting this at 258 and my goal is 135.
