Please help the newbie - 02/24/2011

Hello,

I am a newbie (firt time, first round) I started my hcg and load days on 2/24/2011. I am now on day 3 of the VLCD, and need some inspiration or mental relief if you will. I am perplexed though as I have lost 5.5 lbs already. I lost 2 lbs on my load days, and did not hold back by no means!!! Does this sound to good to be true or is this normal? What I really need help with is some suggestions for meals....I am already dreading meal time and know that I will be doomed if I keep this up.....any words of wisdom or great advice please??

    kristiana, use your search above and type in p2 meal recipes. You will get tons of ideas for food. Tons. I strongly recommend you try and fix appetizing meals, as you won't feel as bored and depressed about meal times if you actually look forward to the food. The food is good, take the time to prepare, spice it up, and it is very tasty. Real food. Not a lot of it, but very good. Many of the recipes I've learned on my p2 rounds, I continue to eat on the other phases of the protocol, just have larger portions. Big losses at first are common, enjoy them. But no, I gained, like 6 lbs. on my loading days, though I have heard of some people losing. I wasn't that lucky, but boy, did I enjoy loading! lol.

    Kristiana, good job! I'm also on my third day of my first round. Until Dr. Oz's show last week, had not even heard of HCG - the same day I was able to get my injections from a doctor What I usually eat is grilled/boiled chicken or fish (I put some water into a teflon instead of PAM, then put any spice that I can find into the water. Once the water starts to boil, I put the chicken in, then put a cover on it so that it's boiling/steaming/grilling and the taste is really good). For veggies, I make a cucumber and cabbage salad, divide them into small pieces to make it look big. I also spray vinegar and lemon mix to the salad. I find these tasty and satisfying for now, but I'll also look into P2 recipes soon I think just to see what's out there. Great that you lost so much weight. I gained 3 lbs on load days, and lost 4.4 lbs in the last two days. Today is my 3rd day.

    You may need to tinker with your dosage if you are very hungry as the HCG helps with this. If you take too much HCG, that can also cause hunger. Very normal to be hungry the first week to two. Most find it goes away the first week. Some is habit so you need to find things to do to take your mind of what you think is hunger. For me, I was not hungry but bored. This diet is awesome so stick with it! Sounds like you are off to a great start and this forum is the best! Best of luck to you!

    I did not loose either on my load days. I gained 4 pounds but lost 11 pounds in 7 days. I am on my first round of P2 HHCG drops and have lost 35 pounds in 33 days. You sound right on track and yes this diet is true and it works. Dubbs is right. I got allot of recopies off of this site and some with pictures so you can see if it lookes good to you.I love using cumin, rosemary, garlic salt and sea salt and pepper on my meats. Just think all you have to do is hold out 3 weeks on this phase. You can go 45 days if you want but anyone can handle 21 days. Then P3 opens up so many more food options for you to stabilize. You can do it your AWESOME!!!

    That is very interesting....I will see it my hunger curbs after my first week and adjust if needed! Thank you for the encouragement....it is definitely needed
