New and excited about HCG!

Hello everyone! I am a former fitness instructor who gained a tremendous amount of weight when I stopped teaching. I am an attorney with a stressful job and I don't have the 2-3 hours to spend in the gym the way I used to. When I attempted to lose I tried everything: low calorie diet, Weight Watches, Atkins, and Medifast. I did not lost until I (1) stopped my BC which I found out was high in estrogen, (2) got tested and started tyroid meds and (3) did 30 days on the Elimination Diet aka The Paleo Diet aka Whole 30. I finally was able to drop 10 lbs but then hit a plateau. I have a group on Facebook called Fitness Fans (please feel free to join), and someone posted a video about HCG. Afterwards, I scoured the web for info and decided to purchase the product. My ultimate goals is to lose 50 lbs and I'm on Round 1.

  1. Back On Track - R2P2 Day 16

    So after freaking out and contemplating quitting a couple of days ago, I'm back on track. I'm better mentally. I did an apple day and dropped 1.2 pounds. Thanks everyone for your support. I gain strength through you, your blogs and the forums.

  2. Should I Quit?

    When I started my HCG journey I weighted 188, loaded to 190 and I ended at 161. I was on P3 for three weeks and stabilized well. I had to do two apples days but overall; I was happy. I decided to go back on HCG for Round 2. I loaded on March 30th & 31st and went up to 168.8! By April 5th, I dropped the load weight! I was back to 161.   3. Day 30

    I want to let all of you guys know that I am soooo thankful for this forum. Today I weighted in at 169.8. I have NOT been in the 160s in two years. Weight loss has been so hard. This week I stalled at 170.8 for two days and 170.0 for two day after having consistent weight loss. But for this forum, I would have been freaking out. I am down 18.2 lbs. in 30 days.   4. Day 23 - 2 lb gain and I am in tears!!!

    So according to my calculations, if I were losing one pound a day, I should weigh 167 but I don't. This is my first Round of HCG and I'm going through a little trial and error. On Days 14 and 15 I TRIED to have some alcohol and I stalled for three days. Last week, TOM was hear and I could not fight the overwhelming urgh to TRY some cake that we had in the office on Day 18 and 20.   5. Day 16 - Experimenting With Alcohol

    So before I experimented with alcohol this weekend, I searched the board for other posts about alcohol in P2. As a result I did the following, on Friday night I had vodka, straight up with lime and on Saturday night, I had some wine.

    What were the results? I had a three day stall. I maintained 177.6 from Friday to Sunday.

    My conclusion: It's not worth it. I was progressing every day and I feel like I set myself back. I'm actually not mad about it ...

  6. Day 13

    Hi HCGers!
    Although this is my 13th day on HCG, it is my first blog post! I started HCG on 1/26 at 185 lbs. I loaded up to 190 lbs. and started Phase Two at 188.4. 188 is my highest weight. My goal is to drop down to 140lbs. I came up with 140 when I went to Metafast and got on their scale that even took measures for bone density. I was told that 140 was proper for my body and it makes sense. YEARS ago, I dropped from 160 - 140 and I was most comfortable at 140.
