I thought I'd blog and let you all know how I'm doing. I see so many people on here that just never come back and you wonder, did they keep the weight off? Did they gain it back and are too embarrassed to come back on and update people?

I have kept the weight off (so far)! I just finished up phase 4 earlier this week. My ldw was 148.8. My average weight during ph 3&4 was 149.4 I did 1 steak day (.8 loss wasn't good enough to repeat), 1 protein day (pretty decent loss but it was the day following the steak day), and I did I believe 4-5 fat fast days. One time was just a single day, and it was a decent loss.

I did fat fast this week, not because I was over ldw, but because I have a few more pounds to lose and am not mentally ready for hcg again. I doubt I'll ever do it again unless I lose control in the future and gain but don't see that happening. Anyway I did fat fast Mon, Tues, and Wed this week. I lost 1.6 after day 1, 1 after day 2, and .6 after day 3. I am currently 2lbs below ldw. I am following up with a protein day today to avoid any deficiency problems. I did however, eat natural pb & pistachios on my fat fast days so I did get some protein in but probably under 50g. I'm curious to see how easy/hard it's going to be to maintain this recent loss. If it's fairly easy, I may do the fat fast every Mon & Tues for the next few weeks until I get where I want to be (138-142). I'm excited for this experiment.

I do have to say I feel obsessive which is what I wanted to avoid. I really wonder everyday how my weight will be. I do not eat like I used to, but I'm human! I'm going to slip up. I'm finding that little slip up cause jumps on the scale and that worries me. Now that I've done the fat fast I'm curious to see how this all plays out. TOM came today, so we will definitely see how it goes! Yikes! Gonna try to keep TOM in mind as i view the scale everyday and I'll try not to get too discouraged.

Thank you for coming back and giving us an update. . . It is great that we know that this works but we need to know how it works out in the long run.

I feel like I will always be "aware" of the numbers on the scale . . . and I am ok with that

You have done so well! Way to go! I know what you mean about thinking what the scale is going to read and becoming almost obsessive about it. I fear that I will be like that for the rest of my life and I really really really do not want to and can't even think about living everyday worried about my weight going up. Did you find Phase 3 harder than Phase 4 or about the same?

Thanks! I'm going to try to come back in a few months and blog again. I think it's important so others don't think you either dropped off the face of the earth or assume you gained. IDK I kinda wish everyone would come back on here and give an update a year later or so. That would help a lot!

Mel- I am hoping to slowly just become "aware" instead of obsessed. Being aware is definitely a good thing.
Loul29- Phase 3 was harder for me. I became gutsy enough the last week of it that I wasn't as nervous about phase 4.
chunkyNOmore- are you doing another round yet? How did you maintain with your last??
