  1. Done with P2

by , October 11th, 2011 at 09:17 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
Hair loss and fainting. I had both this past week and cut P2 short. I knew I wasn't feeling right this time around. However, I am still sticking around and will be working on further weightloss. For the next few days my goal is to increase my fruits and veggies. I need to really add as many as I can. I will also do my protein drink in am. Beyond that I am using fitday to track my cals. Once I am feeling healthy again I may try a Leptin reset. I like the idea of a good large breakfast and ...

  3. R2p2 vlcd 4

by , October 6th, 2011 at 05:20 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
Headache, and grumpy. I forgot my vitamins last night b/c I fell asleep when I layed down with my daughter. Didn't have our clothes ready this am and was all out of sorts. I felt miserable all day. I take my multi and probiotics in am and the B complex and potassium with dinner and the calcium, D, magnesium at bedtime. Forgot the dinner ones last night and missed the bedtime ones. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better.

    Todays menu:
Breakfast: Carb friendly protein drink, ...

  4. P2 Would Be Easier if I Was Hypnotized

by , October 4th, 2011 at 04:31 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
I'm only on VLCD2 so this shouldn't be such a mind game already should it? I'm down to 152. Released 2.6 yesterday. LDW was 152.6 and post load was 154.6 so I'm happy with that. However, it looks like the protein drink will be a mainstay for this round. I'm already having a problem eating the meat again and its only the 2nd day.

I made toasted cheese on whole wheat with carrot slices and apple slices for my little one for dinner. I had chicken breast and romaine lettuce with ...
  5. R2P2 VLCD 1 Not Bad

by , October 3rd, 2011 at 04:00 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
I was hungry when I woke up cause I've been eating pretty good in the morning. Had a carb control Protein drink (110 cals) at 9:00am, 3 hours after I woke up, b/c I planned to be a bit high in protein the first couple days. Had a late lunch of lettuce, grilled chicken breast (4 oz) and balsamic vinegar. Had an apple for snack and grassfed sirloin steak (3oz) with a bowl of spinach with balsamic vinegar for dinner. Not bad for a first day. Logged in at 597 cals on fitday. Skipped the second ...
  6. Last day of P4 tomorrow then Load Days for R2

by , September 29th, 2011 at 07:24 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
My LDW was 152.2 and this morning I was 151.8. Glad that I've been able to stabilize for 5 weeks but I don't think I've ben able to eat enough this week. Definitely have a Candida overgrowth. I take probiotics daily and an AZO which is a homeopathic Candida preventive in a probiotic base but its not working and I need to kill this Candida so I need something strong. Pretty sure I'm calling Dr tomorrow for Diflucon. Any other suggestions are welcome.

    On a good note, I haven't ...

I still have room for Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich but I am full and don't want it. That amazes me.

Breakfast: EAS carb control rich dark chocolate protein drink, 6 strawberries, hot orange spice tea

Lunch: Homemade organic chicken salad sandwich with 1 tablespoon mayo and lettuce on 2 thin slices whole wheat bread, celery sticks, 1 piece low fat cheddar cheese

  9. P4 Begins

by , September 18th, 2011 at 08:03 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
My first P4 day today. LDW was 152.2 and last P3 weight was 153.2. Ate Sunday dinner at my Mom's for a B-dy party for Uncle's g-friend. They had steak and corn with some sort of buttery sauce and brocolli (with cheese sauce) and french fries. I like fries but not the frozen processed ones so skipped those and the corn and had steak and broccoli. I don't like cheese sauce on my broccoli but that is the healthiest thing you'll find at Mom's. Did eat celery and carrots and a few black olives ...
  10. P3 Friendly Vodka Chicken (no sipping the vodka)

by , September 16th, 2011 at 04:13 PM (Laura's Getting Her Old Bod Back)
Vodka Riggies are a very popular Italian dish from my area but not P3 friendly. Just came from the local Italian Festival and decided to try Vodka Riggies (Rigatoni) but with chicken instead. Its a great P3 meal. Add a side of escarole cooked with olive oil garlic and romano cheese and you have a whole Italian meal.

Vodka Chicken (Instead of Vodka Riggies)

1 shot of vodka or two

    3 Boneless chicken breasts
