  1. Update on maintaining post hcg diet

    For those who like to know how maintaining after doing the hcg diet goes... I think I'm doing pretty well. I started out at 188 and over 3 rounds lost 70lbs down to 118ish (from February 2011 until October 2011 with p3 and p4 in between). Today I weigh 129, and that's because I majorly splurged last weekend and earlier this week and so I am correcting now. Yes, I still correct to keep my weight in check.   2. Goal

    Well, I hit my goal this morning. Feels good to accomplish something that takes hard work and dedication and ends up satisfying me more than any bag of m&m's or slice of pizza ever could :-)

  3. Goodbye p2! Hello p3 and permanent maintenance...

    Well, the scale wasn't lying to me yesterday... I was 118.2 this morning and so I'm moving to p3. My last dose of HCG was last night at 10:35pm, so 48 hours from then I will move to p3... actually dinner Wednesday night will be a p3 dinner since I can't really eat anything at 10:30 at night. More than likely it will just be some sort of meat (anything now, not just chicken, lowfat beef, fish or seafood) and a large amount of veggies.   4. Really?

    Ok, so I think my body is anxious to get out of p2. I woke up this morning to a 2.2lb loss and I have no idea how. I even reweighed myself like 45mins later to make sure my scale wasn't playing tricks on me. So, I now have .8lbs left till goal and if I hit that tomorrow or even get close, tomorrow will be my last day of drops. Oh happy day :-)

  5. Been a while but still here... in p2... but not for long :-)

    Wow, it has been a loooooong while since I've posted. After I had my knee surgery (through which I remained on my hcg and protocol... I just increased protein) I didn't do much of anything for about a week except making sure I recover properly, as I couldn't risk needing to recover any longer than that so that I could get back to work. Anyway, Today is VLCD30 for me in this r3p2, and I cheated pretty badly last week, so I must extend my p2 until I lose 3 more pounds. I'm determined to hit 118 so ...

  6. Recovering well and still on track

    Hello everyone. Thought I would stop by and write a quick entry. My knee surgery went great and I'm healing very well and have virtually no pain WITHOUT pain meds. Anyway, I did keep weighing myself and did see an increase the last two days, but as of today I'm back on track. Stuck to protocol-type foods yesterday (my kind of rogueish protocol) and am down 1.6 from Wednesday morning's weigh in before I left for surgery. Its quite the motivator too because I'm now below my LDW and my last p2 VLCD ...

  7. Surgery tomorrow

    Well my knee surgery is tomorrow and so tomorrow morning will be the last I weigh myself for a couple days. I will continue with hcg and vlcd's but I will be increasing my protein intake... maybe eat an extra nonfat fage everyday.

    As for today I weighed 126.8 and was down .6lbs, which is .2 above my last LDW. I have about 8.5lbs left to go :-)

    Here's what I had yesterday:
    B- 2TBSPS cm creamer w/ coffee
    L- 7oz nonfat Fage with 4oz of strawberries

  8. Week One down

    Well, Week One of VLCD and 8.4lbs gone ;-) I don't really have alot to blog about. My surgery is less than 48 hours and I have alot to do around the house so that I'm not stressing about it while I'm laid up in bed.

    Here's what I had over the weekend:
    VLCD6 – 127.8, -.6
    B – 3T fat free h&h with coffee (23cal)
    L – 5oz tuna with 2/3T of Smart Balance mayo, 5 celery sticks, org Fiji apple (265cal)

  9. Slowing begins but still good...

    I told myself that I was going to do strict protocol this round so that I could get good results, but it seems I'm not really following protocol... maybe 75% protocol, 25% other. I stick to the 500 calories and watch my fat and carb numbers, and it's still working. I was down 1.2 this morning and 1.8lbs from my LDW of 126.6lbs. I have just over 10lbs left to lose till I hit the goal I set, but with the surgery next week I will gain lots of water weight and inflammation. In fact, I won't even bother ...

  10. pleasantly surprised

    Well I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I lost 1.8lbs this morning, especially since I had miracle noodles for the first time on p3 last night... and they were really good in my crockpot chicken soup :-)

    Here's what I had yesterday:
    B- coffee with at free half & half, 16oz water
    Mid- 20oz water
