Well, Week One of VLCD and 8.4lbs gone ;-) I don't really have alot to blog about. My surgery is less than 48 hours and I have alot to do around the house so that I'm not stressing about it while I'm laid up in bed.

Here's what I had over the weekend:
VLCD6 – 127.8, -.6
B – 3T fat free h&h with coffee (23cal)
L – 5oz tuna with 2/3T of Smart Balance mayo, 5 celery sticks, org Fiji apple (265cal)
D – KFC two grilled thighs (was supposed to be a breast and thigh but kfc screwed up) and 2 individual green bean sides (262cal, 11g fat)
S – 2T cm creamer
W – 86oz

VLCD7 – 128.6, +.8 (thanks to stupid KFC thighs)
B – 2T cm creamer (20cal)
L – 8oz 2% fage with sugar free jello cheesecake powder, vanilla stevia and 4oz strawberries
S – candy corn/pumpkins
D – pork chop, asparagus and apple dessert with 1/4c butter pecan ice cream (bad bad bad; yes, I admit my indiscretions)
W – 90oz

Ok, so I am just checking... you can manage pork chops and 2% Fage and still lose during P2? Is that something you are testing or have done with success regularly? Just curious. I know I tried 0% Fage last time and did ok, but I would do it like a FFF day in P3, only Fage all day with some strawberries. Anyway, congrats on your success, regardless! Have a great day!

I ate 2% and 0% throughout round 2, so I know it works for me. As for the pork chop, I only ate it because my mom made a family dinner and made mine plain so I could eat it. Apparently it was ok for me and not a particularly fatty chop (thank God because they can be quite high in fat). I do not eat pork chops regularly and won't during p2. I also eat tuna on a regular basis and lose when I eat it. I blog about everything I eat so I know if something doesn't agree with me. I do use 0 & 2% fage for mini fff days during p2. Sometimes I mix them. I do one 7oz container for lunch and one 7oz container for dinner. I will split my one serving of 4oz of strawberries (what I usually eat per day) between the two containers.

I am so eager for my post to look like yours....successful! I am also extremely appreciative of the "menus" you post/blog. I am on my very first day of VLCD and the dry baked chicken and cucumber was oh so boring....I love tuna and Bumble Bee has a spicy one that is my fave and I was too scared to eat it but now I am ready for lunch tomorrow. yay!

Do you know anyone who works out while HCG'ing?? I have a bootcamp class that I love and I really dont want to stop going but I have heard from some not to even think of exercise and others who say go for it but go get some B12 first. Your thoughts?

Doing great, Lawgal. I also find I do well with some non-protocol food--whey protein, eggs, tuna, a tiny bit of coconut oil. Last time I used 0% Fage with success, and I may use it again when I get tired of meat, which shouldn't take too long!

I'm glad to see you have stabilized well with the off-protocol foods, because that has always been my concern: that I'll be able to get the weight off, but not stabilize due to eating stuff off-protocol like the Fage. Unfortunately, because I cheated SO MUCH this summer, my last round wasn't a good test for me as to how well one can stabilize while going "rogue." So I like reading you are having success with it.

Best wishes with your upcoming surgery, and good for you for not using it as an excuse to eat "comfort foods." That's something I would do. LOL.
