Throwing In The Towel (For Now).

Rate this Entry
I cannot continue doing the diet the way I have been doing. I am not physically and mentally prepared for this and I NEED a break. My body is tired. I feel distraught. I still have terrible hunger pangs and cravings. I give up. I'm done with this and I need time to think things through and get myself together. I know if I continue, I will continue to cheat, continue to stall, and continue to be stressed. I rather start new. I am coming back in the beginning of April. So two more weeks to get the hCG out and start over. I do not even know if I should continue using the drops I am using now. Yes, they do state there is hCG as the first ingredient but I really have my doubts. I feel so sad and depressed right now and disappointed in myself. I thought by this time I would be where I want to be in regards to my weight. It has been a month and I am back to where I started. I could just cry right now.

I dont know much about the diet but assuming your drops were real, did you ask on here about the right dosage? From what I've read while browsing I know that the wrong dosage can cause hunger.
  2. Loul29's Avatar
Yes. I constantly adjusted the dosage and realized when I would up my dosage I would get hungrier. But, when I was on a low dosage, I was also hungry. I do not know what to use for my redo Round. I am looking into pellets? Rx Injections? I have no idea.

I'm sorry you had such problems You need to be in it mentally. It is extremely draining. I doubt I'll ever do it again. It was all I could do to get through the 24 days as it was. How many days did you do this round so far? Has it been at least 23 days?

oh Lou - I really do think you need to talk with one of the pros about your dosage - I did the hhcg - and did fine - but I think my dosage was ok. Jarret is right!
so is kt - if your heart isn't in it - you will not be successful! BUT if you have a combination of not the right dosage - and your heart isn't in it - its setting yourself up for failure girlie - so take a step back - get your dosage right - and make a plan for when you will start again. you can do it!

I fully understand and am so sorry that you feel that way. I have been there! I have done this diet and felt great done this diet and felt awful. Mindset makes allthe difference. I cannot tell you anything you dont already know. This can be a different type for journey for every person and even then it is literally different each time and gets harder each time. I am just now mentally feeling better ( I am not doing hcg right now) You sometimes just need to focus on you and your bodys needs and eating good healthy foods...but if it were that easy we'd all be skinny. Good luck in whatever path you choose, and even though this site is hcg, it helps to read things even if your not on the diet anymore or if you feel like you may try it again sometime. As for me, im unsure. Im focusing on eating good healthy foods and getting in ALOT of exercise. Hcg is not the only diet in the world and it is not the only thing that works. There is weight loss and happiness outside of hcg. It can help you appreciate the other healthy foods you cant have on hcg. Good luck in what you choose. do what YOU feel is right, not what people tell you to do.

Thank you guys for understanding. It's been so difficult...
Ktesueh- yes, this would have been my 25th day but I am stopping my drops today. Now, I don't know when is the best time for me to restart the drops. I know I can't wait more than two weeks. Do you think returning after one week is fine to start a 23-30 day round? I think by next monday I'll be prepared. I have a lot of thinking and preparing to do. I also do not know if I should go to RX?
Hsm- you have been so good to me and supported me so much. I feel like not only have I failed myself but you with all the others out there who were rooting for me! Oh it's a terrible feeling. But you are right. I need to take a step back. I need time.
Emross- I am sorry you had difficulty as well. It's all mental which is torture at times. I am so happy to hear you found an alternative route that ha worked for you. I wish you the best!!

If you think you can handle it again, yes treat it as a break and then get back to it in a couple of weeks. If not, it's ok to stop now. 25 days is safe. Give yourself a break and relax. Maybe in time you'll want to dive back in, and maybe not. It's up to you. But do no start again if your heart isn't in it. Def do your research and get your dose right so you're not hungry tho, that's so important to be able to keep at this!

Lou - wish I could send ya big hugs- believe me - I have dieted my whole life - probably lost 1000lbs or more - we try - we fail - we try again. Don't beat yourself up girlie - take some time - get yourself ready - and try again. The only real failure is to give up! and maybe - maybe this isn't right for you - maybe you ought to look at the Leptin Reset for a few weeks - try that - and if that doesn't work - come back to this. If I have learned anything - its that not everything - works for everybody - and from the looks of your pic girlie - you are not in desperate times. I know, I know - its all in how you feel - and I have had people tell me I don't need to lose either - and I wanna set them straight - but - give yourself time to find what is right for you. If you find what is right for you - its easier to wrap your brain around it - and stay on track. You can do it!!

Ktsueh- I may come back even a little earlier! I really want to do SOMETHING right and finish it for once!
HSM- Aw you are so sweet! It's been really rough for me these three days. Lots of stuff going on. I have not been eating well either. I am definitely coming back on this diet in a matter of days. I ordered rx drops this time because I honestly think the other ones I had were not legit. I was always changing my dose with no success.. So now I just have to wait to get the stuff in the mail. They say 5-15 days. So I'll be back! No worries! I always check to see how u are doing and you are doing wonderful! I see you tried a steak day and it worked! YAY! I love to see you are doing this and succeeding. I want to be like YOU and all the others who have succeeded. Keep it going!

Hey Lou so sad for you, its so frustrating, I know, I've been in the same boat before. Hang in there, don't give up on yourself baby steps make a big step over time. I don't know if you have heard about this book yet, but if you haven't, Try giving "The Weigh-tloss Apocalypse" by Robin Phipps Woodall while your on a break, I read it, it really helped. And actually now that I'm thinking about it, I'm going to give it another read. It will really help you put things into perspective. In Canada it was only available through an ereader, perhaps in the States in different. Good Luck and lots of hugs to you I look forward to seeing you around soon

Ginny-Thank you for those words. Its nice to hear kind thoughts when you are feeling so down I really think I am going to get this book. Actually, since I have nothing better to do at the moment, I will look it up right now! I need some inspiration and motivation before I start up again. Thanks again.
