Haven't checked in in a bit. I've been really busy with work getting ready for my location shoot out of the country leaving Wed. Yup day 40 of P2. Things with diet are going great. I feel like all the stalls and .5 up and .5 downs have stablized and I'm consistantly losing each morning. The interesting part has been in the last three days (each morning having a 1lb lose) I uped my protein intake a bit 4oz verse 3oz. Tree days to go and then P3 on a cruise ship, I'm scared. I've bought several books regarding this diet and have studied and studied the blogs here regarding P3. I just really want to be able to stabilize quickly. I haven't cheat once at all during this phase and eating like this seems really easy to do.
Being more in the moment and finding the gratitude though, everything I own fits and being a professional costume deisnger/Wardrobe stylist that is a huge piece of mind and so much fun. I can't believe this has gone so well but am so so grateful

Congratulations on your losses! I lost 24 my 1st round and am in P4 Day 8 and have had no problem with stabilizing. Not one steak day so far. My only advice is add things one day at a time in small portions. Start out with dairy, fats, proteins week 1, and fruits and veg. starches week 2 than some flour products if you want.

So far I've been able to add just about everything back without a hitch. My 1st flour product was a croissant and only 1/2 # gain that was gone next day. It seems alcohol and sugar really trips up stabilizing from what I've been reading in blogs. I've not had any trouble adding 80% dark chocolate though. Have not tried alcohol, plan on it week 3 of P4 with a glass of chardonnay.

Really though everyone is different but as long as you take it slow and not over do you'll be fine. Don't be afraid of fats and protein. I eat real butter on everything. And good cheeses....if you're going to Europe try a "Raclette" meal.

Congratulations and have fun on your shoot.

Thank you so much for the advise. I'm a little unclear though. So say first day I introduce eggs if I gain the next day do I omit them from being a option? Also did you just triple your calorie intake immediately with basically P2 foods? Cause wouldn't anything other then P2 foods when adding one new thing a day be confusing as to which food is the culperate in weight gain?
