Fasten your seatbelt and ready for departure!

Rate this Entry
One of my motivations for beginning this journey on HCG (drops) is not being able to easily fasten my seatbelt when seated on an airplane. A little thing, perhaps. Yet when added to the mixture of many little things...well, let's just say I am ready. Ready to feel better in a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual sense. I am a little over midway through my fortieth year on this planet and I feel I am just hitting my stride. There are far too many adventures I intend to have to be limited any longer by my weight.

Luckily, I have my dear friend and roommate joining me on this endeavor along with one or two more friends. We will be our own cheerleaders, too. This blog is my first and I am not quite sure why I feel moved to do one but here I am and there you are reading. I have to say thank you for all the people on here...I have been checking you out for the past week or so. Your honesty and candor. Your courage and humor. It does help knowing so many others are anywhere from just beginning to being on their fourth round.

Tomorrow is the first day of load/gorge day. Today is being spent making a list for grocery shopping on Sunday and doing more reading. We are vegetarians but will be incorporating fish and Boca burgers to the VCLD. Any suggestions or resources for vegetarians is surely appreciated.

A bit nervous but mostly it is eager anticipation to see where even just one week from now will find us.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME blog! I have never blogged either, but I think it is theraputic. When you can let your true feelings out to people who are on the same journey as you, I believe that can only bring success. You should join the P2 recipe group on here. I have made a lot of the shrimp dishes and my husband adores them. You have one great factor going for you, too, people doing it with you. My husband has been awesome, and I truly believe I would not have made it through these first days without him (willpower...not my strong point). I am gonna be watching your blogs! Here is to success!!!

I too am new, new to hcg, new to blogging. I have seat belt issues on a plane too. I've always been able to get it done up, but it's usually a pretty tight fit.
I finished a short round on tues, still supposed to be doing the last few days at 500 calories, but my weight is going down too much (can't believe i just said that!) so I've just gone right into phase 3, doing no starch no sugar, not worrying too much about calories yet. Now I'm going to be away for the next few days, so that will be the real test. Good luck with your hcg journey!
