Having a hard time stabilizing....try UPPING your calories??

Hmmmm....I had something wise to say but now I can't really remember that well. I think that my big mistake, and I see a lot of people doing it, is when the weight is fluctuating so much, we "overcorrect" through steak days and multiple protein days in a row. I think a better approach may be to up the calories, looking for stabilization, then when the weight is stable, do the steak day/protein day. The body understands it's not starving to death so will be more relenting to the extra pounds. That's just a theory I have, but when my weight was creeping and I did steak days, I didn't lose any. After a few weeks of being stable, I did a steak day when I didn't really need to and lost 2.4 pounds.
