  1. Starting round 3 tomorrow!

    I've decided to try hcg 2.0 for this round. I read the book and it seems to make sense. No fruit or Melba, grissini (to many carbs).
    He has a formula for women and one for men to determine your BMR. That number is the calories in lean protein to eat per day. Mine is 542 and the hubs is 730
    He allows mct oil 2-3T per day and a few other vegetables and you can mix. You are not allowed to eat more than 30g of carbs from your vegetables. This helps to get into ketosis and start in ketosis. ...

  2. R2P3 - Defining

    My off feeling is still lingering...think it may be a bug. I always get a taste in my mouth whenever I am getting the flu bug and I have been experiencing that taste for a few days now. My friend is feeling the same way...just off, tired/drained, and slight nausea. Not that I am happy that she is feeling that way but it sure makes me feel better knowing that it isn't from the HCG. Of course everyone else feels that the diet is causing it, that is so frustrating.

  3. July 6th, 2015 Round 2 Loading

    Today my hubby and I started this journey together. I am so proud of him for deciding this on his own. He needs to lose 50-60 lbs and I am sure that a lot of his own health issues will improve. He has had several surgeries and now has a huge hernia. The doctors don't think another surgery will fix the issue so losing weight is about the only option. I am hoping that he will stick with it, power through the rough days in the beginning.

  4. P4 begins

    I didn't eat much yesterday due to a migraine. Switched back to decaf coffee yesterday so that could be why my head hurts. I will also could out the HWC and see if that also helps lighten up the hot flashes. I do notice my weight creeping up when I over do the HWC. So I think a little is OK but 3 cups of coffee with it is too much.
    After a few days off I will try half n half...maybe.

    I've been up all night with the worst hot flashes and migraine. On top of that I have my 6 ...

  5. my last week on p3.

    Actually I think this Thursday is my last day on p3 which means round 2 is around the corner. I've already ordered my supplies and they should be here in a couple of weeks at the most. I am excited to get started again, though I will miss the foods that I'm eating. I'm just anxious to get the rest of this weight off.

    I'm really impressed that my weight seems to be holding right where it should be. Only 1 steak day so far.

    I'm such an idiot. I didn't wait a few days before trying something new and now I'm up 2lbs and I'm not sure which did caused it. Back to the drawing board.

    I also have a migraine so my guess is it's the blue cheese. My reasoning on that is because I tend to get migraines. I ate the blue cheese Saturday on a burger. I don't eat blue cheese a lot but I have it more than I do cantaloupe (my Sunday morning breakfast). I don't really eat much cantaloupe at all because I'm the only one ...

  7. gallbladder

    It's after 3 am and I'm feeling the gallbladder acting up again. Pulled out the malic acid, lecithin, milk thistle, and cholacol ll and I'm hoping that it works.

    I'm wondering if the MCT oil is triggering these attacks so no MCT coffee for a few days to see if it helps. Maybe it's the bacon everyday...

  8. my first correction day

    Today was my first correction day after eating an egg and munching on cashews yesterday. I almost forgot about that egg for breakfast so I will eliminate both for a few days and try the eggs again. I'm not sure which one I would prefer it to be.

    I got careless yesterday by eating two common problem foods so now it's back to writing everything down.

    I can feel the bloating and my clothes felt tighter today. Ugh.

    Yesterday was a rough day. My gallbladder was acting up again. I think the higher fats and lack of bowel movements are causing the issues so I'm going to increase my raw vegetables and add in some flax meal for added fiber. Hopefully that will prevent another attack.

    I'm feel much better this morning and surprisingly sleep well last night.

    The wine and oopsy latte did not affect my weight, in fact I'm back down to my LIW this morning. My bowels are just moving this ...

    After our mini vacation this weekend I was really expecting a correction day but I'm only up .6 and so happy about that. Never thought I would be happy about a gain lol.

    I had a glass of wine the other night and was really regretting trying it so soon into P3 but so far no reason to that. I'm not sure if it's just to soon for a reaction or what.

    I also ate chipotle yesterday on our way home and that scared me more than the winter because it tasted too good to be true ...
