The begining

Ok so today is day 5 of phase 2, I have LOTS of weight to and I have had some problems with hunger this past week. Not everyday but I get up at 6:30 am and do not go to sleep until 11:30 pm. I beleive that has alot to do with me being so hungry, unfortunately my body is going to have to get used to it because I do not have a choice

The other night (day 3 of p2) I started cooking my dinner and when I opened the fridge saw the spinich dip (that i made to eat before I started this and now the rest of my family enjoys) sitting in the fridge begging me to eat it! I closed the fridge in a hurry and went about cooking! 2 times I walked back to the fridge to look and ponder about that spinich dip. I even stepped on the scale 3 times to ensure myself I did not want it. I added up my total losses and tried to see if I could have a spoonful with a handful of tostito's and not hate myself! I decided to like Nike says "just do it" I got the dip out put a spoonful in a bowl grab a small bowl for the chips (thinking I didn't want the bag of them with me when I ate it), I heated my dip up, let me tell you it smelled so good!!!! Got my bowl out of the microwave took a chip and mixed the dip with it, a minute piece of chip broke which I ate quickly... then me and the dip had a moment. I stared that bowl of dip down while it sat patiently on the counter with the broken chip in it waiting for me to consume it. After about 5 minutes of debating (and salivating) I took the bowl and chips and went to my daughters room and practically begged her to eat it! (she complied)

By then my cod was done and I was no longer hungry, the cod however seemed to have to be forced down. I beleive its because I wanted the flavor of the dip not the fish but I survived. I can happily say I have as of today lost a total of 17.2 lbs. The cravings have not gone away and I am sure that I will have a stare down with numerous other food items throughout my journey I am just hoping that if I was able to win on day 3 I will continue to be victorious in the future! Wish me luck

    You did a great job beating your cravings. I had a rough day yesterday too, i just want anything except fish, steak or chicken. Thank God I have a Good protein shake, it keeps me sane.
    What has helped me with cravings is Black Walnut Hull and Cloves, gotta get the pill for because they are nasty tasting.
    You can get them at a health food store and they help get rid of parasites too. That helped me maybe it can help you.

    I am having one of those days too where I can literally hear the junk food calling me lol ! Weekends are especially hard for me. I guess its just a matter of keeping your goal in sight and thinking how disappointed you will feel if you do not follow through and eat something that is a no no. There are going to be times where you will want to quit but do not let it get to you. Stay strong! Wish you the best.

    Thanks to both of you and good luck with your cravings I cant tell if its getting easier or not but that day was quite comical now that I can look back on it! I wish I had it on video me and the dip squaring off it was priceless!
    @Lisa Im going to look into the pills thanks for the advice!

    Yes you and that dip squared off and you won! Emotional eating sucks and we are all guilty of it.
    I read Weight loss Apocolypse in the first few days of this round and it made me look at the HCG program in a whole new light.
    The main points are 1. Only eat when you are hungry and stop when you are not hungry anymore 2. We emotionally eat to feel better, ect. 3. Figure out where you are on the hunger scale 4. The HCG brigs up your Lepitin levels, so cheating screws up your round encredibly and make you gain. She made some awesome you tube videos. Robin ?
    So I did HCG 2 times already and gained the weight back both times. So I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my body and my mind.

    So I am all about Lepin reset, and I have to say I am losing faster on this round than i have on any other round. I also have not cheated at all this round and before I did. Especially with alchol.
    This round is more like rehab, lol. But 22.5 pounds in 23 days so i am doing something right.

    when are you taking your HCG? I ask because I found that when I took it in the morning before work, I was ravenous but when I started taking it between noon and 1pm I had no hunger all night...good luck!

    Im definately getting better now. I am doing the injections in the morning before work. My problem is I WILL forget if I do not do it right after I weigh in I actually forgot today because I was running late! oops! Thanks for the advise though If it gets bad I may have to try that!
