So it begins...

I'm one meal into my first loading day and already I'm wondering how I'm going to manage. I haven't had much of an appetite for the past week (a problem I wish I'd had all my life), which is probably an indication that there may be something wrong with me (I can ALWAYS eat--I'm like the sterotypical fat sidekick of any 80s cartoon or movie). And now I'm having to gorge... I'm just glad my husband's gone for the weekend so he doesn't have to see me 1) eating all the foods he loves to eat but can't anymore, and 2) not enjoying it very much.
I started off with a Mexican breakfast scramble: three beaten eggs mixed with spinach, red onion, green peppers, about a cup of shredded pepperjack, skillet-cooked in a ton of olive oil, then slathered with sour cream and eaten with two low carb tortillas. I followed up with a homemade cream cheese danish for "dessert" and a big mug of coffee stirred with heavy whipping cream. Ay carumba. >_< No fast food, pizza or chocolate this time; I'm going to load at home and stick with a mostly homemade Mexican menu--lots of cheese, heavy cream, olive oil and avocados. I think this will yield better results (i.e., less hunger) when I start P2. Historically, that's always been my problem with P2. No matter how I adjust my drops dosage, I'm achingly hungry throughout it all.
Right now I'm thinking I have way too much food to down in the next day and a half. I've never had this problem before--I always love the loading days, even if it does make me feel like a big fat pig for a while. Hope this is a sign of good things to come!
