  1. Not hitting 500 calories. What should I do?

    I have not been hitting 500 calories and I'm not sure where to make up the extra or if I should just leave it. I'm usually short around 50-75 calories and hungry most of the time so adding food sounds great to me. I usually eat vegan but switched to pescatarian for this diet using eggs (1 whole and 3 whites), fage 0%, ff cottage cheese and boca vegan patties as well as fish for my protein.   2. I blew it last night, should I do an apple day?

    I am on VLCD 17 and yesterday I blew it! I had two cocktails (1 bloody mary, 1 martini) and a glass of wine. Today I have a 4lb gain. The gain is no surprise, I deserve it. I'm wondering if I should do an apple day to compensate for the gain or if apple days are just for stalls. Oh yeah, any restriction on the amount of water I can drink on an apple day? Any advise would be appreciated.

    I have used the Jay Robb protein shakes on P3 (an occasionally on P2 in a pinch) with no adverse affects. The biggest problem with this protein shake is the price.   4. P3 protocol question

    I am starting P3 in a couple days and I wanted to get ready. I know I found the rules on this site before and I could have sworn that I read it in Pounds and Inches but I can't seem to find it anywhere right now. Maybe it's because my kids are constantly bugging me right now but my patients to keep looking is gone. Can someone please help. If I remember correctly, anything goes except sugar and starch.   5. Hello! Reality check!

    I have been in a stall for the past 11 days and was getting really frustrated. I'm talking REALLY frustrated!!! I have "only" lost 15 lbs so far and I'm on VLCD33. I have another 11 lbs to go to goal. I only have a week left to get to goal. By this time in R1 I had lost 23 lbs and had a total loss of 27 for the round.   6. Reloading to fight hunger

    I have been starving during this round of P2. Someone on another forum site suggested that I may not have loaded effectively and that is why I'm so hungry. She may be right. I did spend 1/2 of my second load day stuck in an airport due to flight delays. She suggested that if I do two more load days from now and continue from there that the hunger will be better.     In an effort not to eat the same thing every day, I decided to try the fennel soup recipe. I had only had fennel seed and only knew it as the licorice stuff. I was honestly scared of the soup but I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly shocked with the flavor of the soup and have made it three times since then.   8. VLCD 18 and still starving! Advise please

    Hunger was around a 10 all day today! I gave up kickboxing because I thought that was causing the hunger and stalls. In the 5 days since I quit going, I have lost 3 lbs so I guess it's helping but I'm starving all the time. I don't get it. During R1 I wasn't hungry at all after the first few days, now I'm almost half way through and I'm hungry every day.   9. VLCD day 17 - lost 10 lbs, trying patches

    In round 1 day 17 I had lost 14.5 lbs and I lost a total of 25 lbs for all of P2. This time I have lost 10 lbs by day 17 and I am STARVING all the time. This is so much harder this time! I thought maybe the drops I had in R1 were old and losing potency so I ordered the new patches to see how those work.   10. Day 13, 3rd day in a row with a gain

    I was down to 157.3, now I'm back up to 158.9 this morning. I have been tracking my food, counting calories, drinking water and sticking with it. I wish I could figure out what was happening because I am hungry ALL the time and it's one thing to deal with it when there is a loss in the morning. It's another to be hungry all day and still not lose weight.
