I blew it last night, should I do an apple day?

I am on VLCD 17 and yesterday I blew it! I had two cocktails (1 bloody mary, 1 martini) and a glass of wine. Today I have a 4lb gain. The gain is no surprise, I deserve it. I'm wondering if I should do an apple day to compensate for the gain or if apple days are just for stalls. Oh yeah, any restriction on the amount of water I can drink on an apple day? Any advise would be appreciated.

    Apple day is only for stalls and most of the time they don't work for that.. I know this diet can be rough at times but its not like the restricted diet is forever..you will be able to enjoy cocktails in time..not out of control amounts but you will. You need to focus and stay on task...When you cheat during this part of the diet you pay for it..big time! It will probably set you back 2 to 3 days..best way to avoid it is avoid cheating...I say shake it off and focus and good luck! best wishes in your journey

    I would just drink lots of water for the next 24 hours to flush your system out. Also, alcohol tends to dehydrate you, so maybe you are retaining water right now. Just drink as much water as you can for the next day and hopefully that will put your body back in sync. On apple days though, you only drink when you are thirsty., to answer your question about that.
