  2. Bit of a backslide

    Posting this blog, hoping not to feel alone =( Started my HCG journey earlier this year at 224. after 1.5 rounds, my LIW was 177. First round went beautifully, stabilized like a rock star. Second round, not so much. My head was never really in the game, and I only lost like 12 lbs. after that my main goal was just to stabilize for the remainder of the Summer. As of last Thursday, I weighed in at 183, so 6 up which is basically where I stabilized ( oddly enough, my LIW after round 1 was 189) Anyway, ...
  3. R1P2 complete... sats and other stuff =)

    So it's official, I have completed P2 =) total loss for 40 days 26 pounds ( YaYYYYY) start weight 214.6 current weight 188.6. My weekly sats are as follows, week1-6.2 pounds, week 2-4 pounds, week 3- 4.4 pounds, week 4- 4.6 pounds, week 5-3.8 pounds and week 6- 3 pounds. Week one and 2 I went exactly by protocol, but I did rouge the rest of the time. I added occasional eggs, broccoli and cauliflower, and I frequently mixed things.     Haven't posted in a few weeks, but things are still going incredibly well. Today is vlcd 28 for me and I am down a total of 19.2 pounds. Add the 10 pounds I lost with WW prior to HCG and that brings my total loss to almost 30 lbs since December =) I'm doing it, I didn't think I could. I had resigned myself to the fact that I would be obese forever. This diet has had another added benefit, I am learning how, for the first time in my life, to have a healthy relationship with food.     Still feeling incredibly good. Very little hunger, but admittedly bored with my food choices. Not to the point of aversion, but sure would like creamer in my coffee, cheese and potatoes ;P soon enough I guess. Going to update my losses today !!!

    So its Friday and I have been on HCG 1 week today. Including the 2 load days and as of today, I am down a total of 6.5 lbs !!! I also measured inches today and am down on all =) of course that is over the last month so I don't attribute that all to HCG. I have found an HCG forum where I am making friends doing the same thing I am. The support and understanding is wonderful. I personally still refuse to give up WW and fully intend to use it for maintenance between rounds and once I reach my goal ...

    Good morning =) so today is day 5 on the program for me. And, so far so good. I have been a little light headed, and a bit out of sorts, but otherwise not bad. I'm not sure if how I'm feeling is because of the extreme low calorie, or the withdrawal from sugar. Probably a mixture of both. I have been going a bit off protocol, I am taking my daily multivitamins (I currently take 13 or so) and I have not been obsessing about the creams and lotions. I figure when ...
