  1. yeah!

    I was down today, to Friday morning's weight. Thank God! Today was good.... mostly! Went out to lunch with some colleagues to IHOP! Ordered a chicken caesar salad with the dressing on the side... before anyone else ordered. I didn't want to be swayed by the stuff they ordered. I dipped my fork into the light dressing and ate my salad. I was very happy I didn't cave.

  2. On the rebound...

    Um.... yesterday, I fell off the protocol wagon. I don't know what happened, what triggered it. It was just sad. God was gracious to me this morning, and I have been op all day. I was up 1.4 this morning.... but hope to lose it by Monday. Need to keep this thing in strong prayer, to keep me on program!

  3. Day 11

    I was down another .4 this morning, very grateful. Found myself unprepared last night, out running around and wouldn't be home for dinner. Only place around to stop was Carl's Jr... which I have never visited because I can't stand their commercials, lol. Anyway, I got the $6 Low Carb burger... wrapped in lettuce. It was the best choice on the menu.... googled it later. Over 500 calories. REALLY! Fora a stupid burger wrapped in lettuce? It was good though

  4. Day 10, Turkey Chili Recipe inside!

    Today is my day 10 of VLCD, so far, pretty good!

    Monday the 28th was week 1, down 6.8 lbs and 6.75 inches! I've lost an additional .8 lbs since then. Can't wait to try on a particular pair of jeans after I shower!

    Struggled once or twice, but adjusted dosage of pellets, one less. It helped.

    I even went to the gym today. I felt a little shaky at first, but made it through the 30 min routine. It just felt good to be moving.

  5. Feeling Down...

    Down .2 this morning, glad to be down.

    Feeling a little down, cranky, tired, and a little whiny today. I am hungry right now, but have no idea what I want to eat. Haven't been starving or anything, thank God! I've been going to bed earlier the last few nights too.

  6. 2nd day of VLCD...

    Wow, I didn't even know this blog feature was available! How cool!

    I did hcg homeopathic drops in the summer of 2011, and lost 26 lbs! I kept most of it off until last September, when I started having hormone and health issues. I gained @ 16 lbs back and am looking forward to getting it off and leaving it off.

    I realize I cannot have carbs. Veggie carbs are ok, but pretzels, crackers, etc, I can't go there. I feel like crap after I eat them. One would think that ...
