VLCD Modification to LCD

Today I've decided to change from 500 calories to somewhere in the 800-1000 range. That will combat my hunger and I'll feel better. I read about this modified version before I started my loading, however, since I didn't see much about it I went with the original protocol (vegetarian, of course).

Yesterday, I had what seems like lots of veggie patties AND I even ate the fake chicken that I swore made me gain a couple of days ago. Nevertheless, I lost two pounds. I'm sure my body will thank me.

Hats off to those with the 500 cal version.

    I ate more than 500 calories several times on the diet but only protocol foods. I increased my protein to 150g and had an extra cup of an approved veggie. I did that during TOM and did fine.

    Thanks, tnsweetness! I'm trying to figure out how to get that much protein from what I eat. I'll try to see what can do it for me.

    Good luck, Monday. I too, often came in above the 500 cal. mark, mostly by little extra protein, never extra fruits or breadsticks. Hope this works for you. Good job on losing 2 lb. already.

    Thanks, Dubbles! I actually have lost 10.5 pounds overall, since last Saturday. I just lost those 2 pounds overnight, which surprised me because that particular fake chicken I ate made me gain a couple of nights prior.
