My HCG 40 Day Journey

VLCD 4: Only .6 loss:(

I only loss .6 pounds today which was disappointing. Since my 2 pound drop, my expectations are so high now! lol Here's what i ate yesterday
Breakfast: green tea with truvia, some golden rassberries
Lunch: Non fat plain yogurt with blueberries, strawberries and rassberries with some truvia
Dinner: Chili: 80% lean 20% fat beef, 2 diced tomatoes and a can of hunts tomato paste, chili powder and spices. Strawberries, blueberries
Snack: celery sticks, green tea
I can tell my body is adjusting to my new eating habits.
Yesterday i went to the gym too. I did 45 mins of cardio and lost 354 calories. Yesterday was the most satisfying food day i've had yet, i was not hungry at all.
I was expecting a huge loss in the morning but i didn't get one. So why did i lose so little? I think it might have to do with the 80% lean beef

    I'm on the same boat, first day I lost 2.5 pounds which it was great and after that only .5 pounds everyday.. today is day 7 and I have only lost 4.5 pounds
    Only thing I can say to you is keep going will get through this, we made a big change in our lives...
    I am only eating beef 1-2 a week and trying to stay away from ground beef...

    PS: we are still losing weight right??

    I wanted to lose at least 8 pounds by day 7 but Your right, we are still losing weight i'd be happy to lose at least .8 a day. My expectations are so high now from the first day! lol

    First off, you are both still losing so thats good. Ms. Minnesota, its not just the 80/20 meat. You cant have yogurt, blueberries, and rasberries. I would also stay away from tomato paste.

    Fruits allowed: Handful of strawberries OR 1 Apple OR 1 Orange OR 1/2 grapefruit.

    Another tip is that you cannot mix your veggies or your fruit. You have to have only, meaning no mixing apples and oranges, etc. Its an apple and nothing else. If its a cucumber its just the cucumber. You cant do have a cucumber and half lettuce. Its one or the other.

    Dont forget to cook with lemon. You can have juice from 1 lemon every day. This will help you with cooking.

    Make these adjustments today and you'll see a nice loss tomorrow.

    Exactly why cactus39 said. It's probably the yogurt...but read Pounds and Inches to get the list of acceptable foods. You will do great after a few adjustments. Are you weighing your protein?

    Cactus39, Thank you for the advice! i adjusted my diet yesterday. I still had the yogurt yesterday but i cut out the chili with the 80/20 meat and it made a big difference. I loss 1.4 pounds today! I know i have to cut out the chili but do i absolutely have to cut out the yogurt? Its the one thing that i find tasty and filling. Instead of the having chili for dinner i had a chicken salad with strawberries dressed with juice from a lemon. I found that very filling, surprisingly.
