I think I've got the travel thing figured out....

Just returned from my 3rd trip during R1 and happy to say down .6 today!
My trips have all been 3 dayers. I inject early day 1 of the trip, skip the next day, and inject as soon as I return home on the 3rd day. I try to concentrate on "lean meat, fruit, veggies" (it's like a mantra I repeat over and over to myself while making food choices!!) Seems to be working well even though sometimes I have to be "off" protocol in a very slight manner (forgot to ask for no cheese on the Arby's chicken salad - very little on anyway but there still).

Another big problem I ran into, the group attended a meeting at :brace yourselves: A Chinese Buffet . I almost had heart failure after traveling for 7 hours (yes, I brought my own food for that part!) But I was racking my brains about what I would be able to eat. This was one of those "country buffet" style restaurants, where everything was mass produced and I'm sure LOADED in fat and sugar. I was able to find steamed clams!! and fresh steamed veggies. Yay! I ate, no one commented, and I didn't have a plate loaded with fat/sugar and was content.

The one thing I am absolutely loving about this protocol is the detachment I have from fat/sugar now. I was actually turned off by most of the food I passed by. You could see the pools of grease and soggy breading. Yuck.
I also adjusted my dose down to 150iu last week after my skip day (so just over a week now) and boy what a big difference. Not even a tummy grumble! Such an amazing diet. Had to force myself to eat a couple times. I Love it!

You're doing fantastic, especially since traveling. Wow, you're an inspiration for all of us, what we can do if we put our minds to it.
