Been stuck at 218 for days now, a friend suggested an apple & steak day, so that's the plan. One apple down, I want more. I'll just drink my grape soda instead...
Yesterday was awful, I had a horrible sinus headache. I had to take some ibuprofen, I was hoping it wouldn't hurt my diet. I also took a long bath to try to relax. Neither really made the headache go away, just dimmed it. It isn't as bad today, and luckily the IB didn't seem to have too much impact on the weight loss.
I read somewhere that it's good to end your shower on a cold note, standing under cold water for about 1 minute will help contract skin? Yeah, after my nice warm shower, that's exactly what I want. I tried a second time today, 5 seconds and I was turning off the water.
So I had a dental appointment this AM, so fun. After the hour of scrapping tarter & plaque and ick off my teeth, I decided to stop at dunkin donuts for an iced coffee. Yes, it was just a black iced coffee. Why did both attendants ask me if I wanted sweetener in it? Is it really that apparent that I love sweet stuff? I did decline, but did put stevia in when I got home.
Woohoo! Less that 220lbs, it's been a LONG time since I've seen that.
Got up, and fed kitties, then had my drops, showered, cleaned up, ate breakfast, went shopping. I now have oil free moisturizer, hopefully that will help the super dry hands, but in my rush to exit, I failed to drink my coffee, it was just sitting there next to my coffee machine. What does this mean to a caffeine addict? Yes, I now have a headache. Oh well, it seems as I indulge
Woke up to purring kittens snuggled against me. Got up cause I knew they wanted food, fed them, took my drops, slept for another hour. I'm hoping that counts as the 30 minutes before my meal. Going to make some hard boiled eggs for lunch, Husband is grilling chicken for dinner, he's still unconvinced that this diet isn't just a fad. Now to marinade my chicken in non-oil, non-sugar something. Uncool how many of the marinades I have are sugared.

Ugh, worst thing ever, sneezing 30 seconds in to the drops under the tongue. I went with quickly swallow vs spray.
Well, I did much better with the planning and asking for salad instead of enchilada. But I was sent a lot of leftover home. Thank goodness my husband will be eating them for lunch for the week! Have a massage later today, I can't wait. I got my dinner all planned and back on protocol.

The dinner party was not good for me. Not only did I forget to bring the drops, I pigged out. I was still full this morning. I guess I need to work on the control/willpower when I'm out because I just kept eating. Worst part is I'm going back to tonight to help eat leftovers. Maybe I can bring a salad and for dessert just stick to the strawberries & blackberries. It's the protein that will be hard to get without massive carbs.

I guess the cup of homemade noodles with sauce and meatballs really was a pretty big cheat. It wouldn't have been as bad if I'd stuck to my first serving, but I didn't. I expected more weight gain, but i'll take 0.2 pounds. I also failed to take the HCG before eating and had to wait until after dinner. I know today will be tough, since I'm going with hubby to a friend's for a mexican dinner. I'll go over in carbs for sure, but maybe
I guess the wine & cheese wasn't too bad, although I didn't loose weight, I didn't gain any either. Kittens woke us up early again today, they've been fed now, I think I'll go back to sleep for just a little longer before breakfast. A nap counts as 30 minute before food, right?
