It's been a while...

So I have been on here daily, but haven't posted anything.
Mostly because my cheat day last week really threw me off. I didn't even have too much of a gain, but definitely stalled and found myself wanting to cheat multiple times afterward. Thought about just stopping and going into p3 but then I decided I have about 6 days left and a vacation coming up next month so I might as well finish and hope for maybe 2 more pounds lost. Which would put me at a 14 pound loss in 3 weeks. Not too shabby since I didn't stay on protocol the entire time.. Which I think I just got lucky by not having a huge gain and stall like I've read before.

I too was thinking about maybe going paleo after I'm done with hcg but it would definitely have to be an "after vacation" lifestyle change, which I know can cause trouble, but we haven't been on vacation in over two years so I know I'll indulge, but will be done with p3 by then and will still check the scale daily to see what I needn't I adjust.

I'm really glad i did this journey and i am really proud of myself for (almost) sticking to it. I have seen a huge difference in my appetite, the amount of food I can comfortably eat, and my energy levels most days has improved. All positive things I've found!!

I also took my before photos and my (almost) afters last night (so about 10 pound difference) and its amazing results!! I also took measurements, I am happy to say over all so far ive lost about 7-10inches all over. Mostly from my love handles, my belly button area, and around my butt was hoping for major loss in then thigh area, but only about .5 inches on each thigh. But i was noticing less cellulite!! Whoop!

I might do another round after vacation and hopefully that'll put me where I want to be for summer. Plus ill be "experienced" and know what to expect better.

I suppose that's enough rambling for now!

    Your having good losses...I would stick with it...more lost now = less to lose later.. that is if you plan on going back on HCG

    Hola! I agree with pook-meister there...just stick with it! You can make it! I have to say too, don't EVER be afraid to post, even when you have gained, cheated, feel down, whatever it is. That's what we're all here for; to help you stay on track and give you the support you need.

    I think it's great that you are already thinking about eating for a healthier lifestyle. However, I do think it's important to mend that relationship with food through the protocol before you try ANY eating lifestyle that you have not been on before. I admire people for choosing the way they eat. But I just know for me personally, eating ALL organic, or eating NO carbs, or eating like P2 or P3 for the rest of my life is just not my style and after completing P3, I think that I will be able and more importantly WANT to be able to eat a healthy balanced diet without worrying and still maintain my new healthy weight with the newly learned portion control, exercise, etc. This isn't for everyone, just for me. But just some things to think about as you continue through the last days of P2.

    Whatever you decide, I wish you all the success in the world!!! And have faith! You CAN do this!!
