Long time no talkie!

Summary of my whereabouts LOL:
My last blog was about 4th of July weekend, where I fell SERIOUSLY off the wagon hahah. But it was so much fun and worth it! I spent almost the entire 4 day weekend at the lake with my daughter and about 5 of her friends and some of their parents. Fireworks were banned here in SW Oklahoma so we did lots of other stuff to keep busy.... like COOK!
Let me tell you I ate whatever in the heck crossed my path. We made a giant thing of Pina Coladas every day... coconut milk, crushed pineapples, sugar, rum.... I had some oreos, some chips, hot dogs with buns and ketchup, smoked pork shoulder, potato salad..... etc etc etc etc. Yet I still kept taking my injections every morning BAWWWAHHAHAHHA I think I was afraid to NOT take them, I have no idea. By Monday I had gained 4 pounds (180).
I went back on protocol for a couple days, but still hovered at the same amount... regardless of water consumption or having BMs...So I stopped the injections. That was last Wednesday. From Wednesday to Sunday I did not take any hcg, I ate whatever I wanted to eat but in MODERATION and did not count calories. If I had to guess I would say it was around 1500-2000? But with no regard to cutting grains or dairy or sugar. Matter of fact, on my birthday (Saturday the 9th) I had two chocolate cupcakes/frosting and a giant glass of milk for BREAKFAST. lolololol. Yeah. I have issues.
ANYHOO..... Monday morning the 11th, after 5 days of eating whatever and no hcg.... still exactly 180. I didn't gain or lose not one pound. Hmph.
Those of you that have followed my blog randomly know that on P2 I had HUGE stall issues and slow loss and was very frustrated for about 25 out of 35 days on hcg. My total loss was 14.? pounds (BARELY) and I struggled for even that much. (With this new 4 pound gain my total loss from the beginning of Hcg is 10 pounds.) My stall breaks were when I cheated and I lost better when I went off protocol. My gut instinct was that the protocol just wasn't right for my body. I think the hcg is AWESOME but the type of foods on Simeon's P2 is not cohesive with my body. I think a big factor is DAIRY. I need it I think. I have been a milk/dairy guzzler since birth, and I also tend to believe in the links of calcium to weight loss. I also don't think my body needs enormous amounts of protein. Also the reason I've never like Atkins... too much protein makes me feel horrible. The one day I had a "protein day" I ended up vomiting and having urine retention and weakness, when I woke up the next day it was similar to a hangover. Ick.
So now I started thinking. How about I start P2 again and eat MY WAY and see what happens. Can't hurt! At least I'm still down 10 pounds.
I'm going to go out on a limb and trust my body, go with the flow and eat things (in moderation) with no rhyme or reason except instinct. Mostly it will be this:
1. Hcg 125iu daily
2. Lots of dairy, try to be low fat but not stressing it
3. Moderate protein
4. Grapefruit daily- when I went over my food log for my inital P2, I lost EVERY SINGLE TIME that I had grapefruit. Worth a shot
I ate a light breakfast Monday morning and by lunch had decided to for sure start Hcg again. I had my injections in the freezer so I popped one out, and as soon as it thawed out I took it.
Lunch was LF cottage cheese with applesauce, an oreo cookie, and an entire grapefruit. Dinner was a slice of spinach pizza and a large glass of 1% milk. Evening/night snack was buttered popcorn and a diet coke. Then a 1 oz cheese square. Bedtime... crossing my fingers....
The next morning I was down 1.5 pounds. Whaaaat??? Ok maybe it's a fluke. So I ate randomly again tuesday, grapefruit with breakfast, had some chicken to add a LITTLE more protein into things, and even had a handful of Fritos with my cottage cheese. Again a giant glass of milk with dinner too, which was a small bowl of tuna helper with peas in it.
Wednesday morning, down another 1.5. OMG!!!! REALLY?
That was yesterday. I AGAIN had a grapefruit with breakfast, one packet of 55 cal Korean coffee with Stevia, and a small chocolate donut. For lunch I had cottage cheese with pineapples, a small slice of real cheese, and steamed broccoli. When I got home I had a small Frito chili pie (Fritos, canned chili, nacho cheese) and a glass of milk. I had Apple Jacks cereal with milk for dinner (LOL we are moving tomorrow and I dont' want to cook). Late last night I had a small square of lasagna, giant glass of milk, and some canned spinach... around 9 pm and went to bed at 11.
This morning I am 175.5.
That's 4.5 pounds in 3 days.
And I'd also like to add that my TOM will be starting any day... My boobs are very sore and I feel a little crampy/bloated... so I actually may have lost more ??
I dont' know what the heck the reason is for this but I'm not stopping. I took my injection again today, and for breakfast had Korean coffee, a grapefruit, and 1/2 of a small choc donut. I do not AT ALL advocate my junk science diet, simple reporting on what's working for me
