Last Day on R1, Phase 2...Very Nervous about what is to come

Rate this Entry
Today is my last day on R1 of VLCD. I did the pellets and list 24.4 or .6 lbs and I am thrilled. Tomorrow is the start of a whole new chapter and I am really nervous. Too many choices and the exercise that needs to go with it. I HATE to work out and know that in order to maintain this I must move my butt a lot. I need menu ideas. Do you eat 3 meals a day? How many fruits? So confused.

I really want this to be the stabilization it is supposed to be and then be successful enough to move to Phase 4. I definitely will do Phase 2 again because i want to lose a total of 70 lbs.

I also hope this next phase will bring me some much needed energy, more patience with those around me and, a feeling of happiness. I know we have talked about this in otger threads but I am sad a lot of the time. Not sure why...it just comes over me. I have an awesome husband, a great son (most of the time), a faitly successful career as a realtor and now almost 25 lbs gone. So what the hell?? Please share some stories and tell me what to expect as I close this door and open the other. I am so excited for an egg tomorrow morning.

Thanks HCG Family...you are very important to my success. BTW, anyone from NJ? would love a walking buddy. Thanks again

P3 is really not that difficult it just seems Scarey the first time. You basically just stay away from sugar and starch. Of course everyone's body is different and one thing you will be doing is seeing what your body does well with and what it doesn't. You definitely want to replenish your proteins first things and fats. I have to be careful not too overdo it on fats the first day as my gallbladder reacts form not having it for awhile. I take bile supplements the first couple days before I eat to help with the fats. I would start by having fruits, protien, lot more veggies, and fats. Wait with the bananas as they are super sweet. Yogurt is good but only full fat unsweetened ones. Stay away from processed foods and drinks. Then add things like nuts and cheese slowly and see how you do. I am ok with nuts right away but some are not. Careful there is no sugar in stuff like dressings, bacon, mayonnaise, sausage ect. I just use oil and balsamic vinegar. It is really important to have enough calories. This is the biggest mistake people make. Go to myfitnesspal.com put in your current weight and no exercise and that you want to stay the same and it will tell you how many calories to eat. You really need to eat that many even if it seems like a lot. You don't have to count calories but get an idea of what it takes. Also don't overdo the exercise. Some say you shouldn't in P3 but I do all along. Just walk if you are normally inactive. I am in P2 right now so I am lusting over foods just thinking about P3. Good luck. If you have any questions you can always private message me. Also you might want to have your thyroid checked. My depression went away when I was put on a low grade thyroid med. actually it made me feel like I got my life back. I couldn't believe the difference.

By the way trader joes has a sugar free mayo and you can sweeten your yogurt with stevia but use sweet leaf as a lot other ones have stuff in it that won't be good. Also use cream not milk or half and have as they have milk sugar in them.
